Ensure all the Gaming Board Rules and Regulations are strictly followed operationally.
Development of staff through training and knowledge.
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of Gaming Laws/Rules/ Regulations pertaining to the Provincial Gambling Board to ensure Compliance is maintained.
In conjunction with the Security Manager ensure licensing and compliance with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).
Ensure open communication with the respective Provincial Gambling Boards.
In conjunction with the Security Manager, ensure good communication and relations with Local Government and Private Law Enforcement, Fire and Medical Services.
Plan, organise co- ordinate and control all personnel in the efficient discharge of their duties.
Ensure that disciplinary and grievance procedures are adhered to in accordance with Company Policy, Labour Relations and Industrial Procedures.
Proactive compliance in terms of the Gambling Act.
Remedy & comply with internal audit, external auditors, Gaming Board and PSIRA regarding compliance Audits.
Analyse systems, policies and procedures with the aim to enhance the Surveillance, Gaming and operations.
Compiling of month end reports, year-end reports and Statistics.
Analyse Gaming, F&B, Hotels and General Revenues for any red flags to potentially launch Investigations.
Implement preventative (pro-active and re-active) measures.
Frequent risk analysis.
Strategize and implement PDI development into managerial positions.
Strategize, implement and oversee Investigations where required with Gaming Investigations your priority.
Ensure proactive and reactive crime prevention and crime countermeasures.
Armed robbery processors, procedures and countermeasures is of primary importance.
The Safety and Security of Staff and Guests is of paramount importance.
Qualifications
Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
Security Management or related Diploma would be an advantage
Extensive knowledge of CCTV systems
A minimum of 5 years’ Gaming Surveillance experience of which 2 years should be in a managerial position
Good administrative & interpersonal skills
Excellent planning, problem solving skills are required
Highly motivated individual with good communication skills
Grade B PSIRA qualification (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) is required.
High Level of Computer literacy with the following programmes:
Office Applications
CCTV Applications
Cheeteye Security Software

Required to work in a smoking environment.
Shift work is an operational requirement.
