System Analyst at Capitec Bank

About the role

• To design, develop, configure, and maintain automation and integration to systems across the Systems Development Lifecycle which are aligned to business processes and relevant internal and external governance. 
• To provide technical system support and query resolution and liaise with system parties to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology - Computer Science or Information Systems
• 4 - 6 years’ experience in Systems Design and Analysis within the functional area
• Advanced knowledge of Systems Analysis Methodologies
• Proven experience in systems analysis or a similar role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of system architecture, design principles, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Solid experience with SQL

Advanced knowledge and understanding of:

• SQL
• AWS
• Technical card skills – VISA or Mastercard
• Project Management and coordination:
• MS SQL (including Data Management)
• Web Services
