We have a career opportunity for a dynamic Talent Sourcing Specialist with a proven track record in innovative sourcing within the engineering and/or consulting industries in Africa and the Middle East. Role responsibilities
Create talent acquisition strategies including social media campaigns to attract and secure high-performing talent in the African and Middle East markets to support our business growth.
Source and pipeline passive and active applicants - invite, qualify, interview, recommend candidates to recruiters.
Commit to proactively communicate and keep key stakeholders (candidates and recruitment leads) informed and engaged.
Weekly updates to recruitment lead on pipeline of passive candidates.
Deploy best in class recruiting practices for high volume technical recruiting, screening and pipelining of qualified candidates.
Proactively build and apply strategic sourcing plans and practices to create pipeline and secure talent requirements.
Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss current projects and internal updates.
Provide recruitment leads with creative ideas for sourcing candidates for hard to fill roles.
Anticipate talent needs by tracking emerging trends, nurturing a talent pipeline, engaging passive candidates, and expanding the database to meet client demands.
Conduct comprehensive research, provide market insights, create detailed trend reports, and partner with recruitment leads to craft effective recruitment strategies with specific focus on Market Mapping.
Foster strong client relationships, align strategies with client goals, provide regular market updates, and collaborate on job descriptions and candidate profiles.
Utilize competitor intelligence for research to gather talent insights for informed decision making.
Detect deficiencies and areas of high risk through data analysis to enable the development of talent sourcing-related risk mitigation strategies for the business.
Strong market networks and social media presence and experience.
Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, talent market dynamics, and competitive landscape, leveraging insights to inform sourcing strategies and provide valuable guidance to recruitment leads.
Operate confidently and strategically with a great “can do” attitude influenced by “fit for future”.
Ensure a top-notch candidate journey/experience throughout the recruitment sourcing process.
Stay current on industry trends, salary data, and effective talent sourcing methods to offer valuable insights.
Minimum requirements
Relevant honours degree preferred, else diploma with additional years' experience
6 - 8+ years relevant talent sourcing experience in engineering and/or consulting across Africa and the Middle East.
Experience with LinkedIn recruiter
Proficiency in utilizing various sourcing channels, tools, and platforms to identify and engage potential candidates
Experience using data analytics and metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies
Proven track record of sourcing and pipelining of passive candidates
Technical sourcing experience preferred.
Applicant Tracking System experience beneficial
