Technical Administrator at Unitrans

• Unitrans is currenly recruiting for a technical administrator to assist in monitoring and controlling inventory levels, analysing data to identify trends, implementing strategies to optimize inventory control processes, managing relationships with suppliers, overseeing stock counts, utilizing inventory management software, identifying shortages, and ensuring accurate inventory records by resolving discrepancies through problem-solving and analytical skills. 

Minimum Requirements    

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in information systems or information technology with experience in inventory control being advantages
• Years experience in a similar role: up to 3 years

Duties & Responsibilities    
Key responsibilities:

• Inventory tracking: Regularly monitoring stock levels across all products to maintain optimal inventory levels. 
• Data analysis: Analysing inventory data to identify patterns, trends, and potential issues. 
• Inventory control procedures: Designing and implementing procedures to ensure accurate inventory management. 
• Supplier management: Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing and delivery terms. 
• Stock counts: Conducting physical inventory counts to verify accuracy of inventory records. 
• Inventory software proficiency: Utilizing inventory management systems to track stock levels, generate reports, and analyse data. 
• Cost optimization: Identifying opportunities to minimize inventory costs through efficient ordering and storage strategies. 
• Reporting and analysis: Generating reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and other key metrics. 
• Problem-solving: Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, stock shortages, and other issues. 
• Process improvement: Continuously evaluating and improving inventory management processes.
