We’re looking for a Technical Lead who can act as the vital link between business requirements and technical delivery. You’ll bring a high-level understanding of systems, platforms, and API tooling, enabling you to support both product and project managers in turning ideas into impactful solutions. This role is essential in ensuring that the product we deliver not only meets requirements but hits the market with precision and efficiency.
What You’ll Be Doing
Direct the fulfilment of requirements from process improvement and digital client engagement teams.
Oversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle - ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Serve as the key liaison between stakeholders and feature teams, translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional feature teams across Business Banking, Retail Banking and Central Technology Teams to deploy solutions, offering domain expertise and insights into product technology and dependencies.
Drive delivery across teams by leveraging a strong understanding of enterprise systems, platforms, and API tooling.
Guide and support product and project managers to ensure that business and technical requirements are aligned and fully delivered by Feature Teams.
Manage and track the delivery roadmap, stakeholder expectations, and successful execution of solutions.
Implement and oversee Quality Planning, Assurance, and Control.
Apply a risk-based approach to embed quality and security throughout the product development lifecycle.
Ensure all solutions meet quality standards and deliver measurable value to the business and its clients.
What We Are Looking For
3 - 5 years’ experience implementing product solutions and have relevant experience in a technical or systems-focused role consisting of:
Strong understanding of enterprise systems, platforms, and API tooling.
Ability to work cross-functionally with delivery, product, and business teams.
Comfortable operating at both a strategic and detailed level.
Proven experience in product development life cycles and working in a financial or banking environment.
Proficiency in report/analysis development.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
Ability to work seamlessly between strategic vision and technical detail.
A problem-solver who can connect dots across platforms and projects.
Education
Qualifications (Minimum): A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology - Programming or Similar
