RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established consulting engineering firm, is seeking a qualified Temporary Works Engineer / Site Representative to join a bridge project in the Eastern Cape for an initial period of 12–24 months.
Requirements:
BSc/BEng/BTech/BEngTech in Civil Engineering
Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng.
Minimum of 5 years’ post-professional registration experience.
Proven experience in bridge design and construction site supervision.
Experience in temporary works design, assessment or supervision will be advantageous but is not essential.
Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering construction practices and structural works.
Good communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with contractors, engineers and the wider project team in a site-based environment.
