Key Accountabilities
Analyse work study data and equipment specifications to establish reasonable time and production standards Survey on-site operations and monitor production to measure and improve plan vs actual (e.g. record time needed to finish one operation). Observe and analyse personnel and work procedures to determine time-and-motion requirements Conduct time-and-motion studies to identify weaknesses and propose enhancements of the overall efficiency and cost savings relative to employees and facilities.
Develop and implement practices and programmes to enable the most efficient use of production staff.
Apply mathematical analysis to determine the validity and reliability of sampling and work study statistics.
Report on-site surveying activities and provide recommendations to improve productivity and utilisation of personnel and facilities Complete tasks efficiently in compliance with the BU and Sasol Groups safety and risk objectives. Continuously improve own skills and knowledge.
