Trainer (NGO) at The Career Network

This role is based in Centurion

My NGO client seeks a trainer who is experienced in the design, development and delivery of training to enhance our track record of excellence and leadership in the field of community-based HIV prevention and care. The ideal candidate will be experienced in instructional design and training delivery. The trainer will report directly to the Wellness, Culture and OD Manager and will work individually and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• Training needs analysis
• Training material development (Instructional Design)
• Training delivery and facilitation
• Business analysis
• Process mapping and documentation

 Qualifications and Experience

• At least 5 years’ experience in instructional design / training material design
• At least 5 years’ experience in training delivery
• Knowledge of adult learning theory is a prerequisite
• Experience with E-learning, scripting and digital design (not required but an advantage)
• Experience with human centred design or design thinking (not required but an advantage)
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Previous experience in South Africa in any industry in corporate or the NGO sectors
