Training and Development Officer- HR City Head Office
The Incumbent will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing learning and development initiatives across the JMH Group. This role supports organizational objectives by ensuring employees receive the necessary training to perform their duties effectively, comply with relevant policies and legislation, and promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Develop and implement the organisation's Learning and Development strategy aligned with business objectives.
Conduct training needs analyses and identify skills gaps to support employee and organisational development.
Design, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate training programmes, including technical, leadership, compliance, and soft-skills training.
Manage learning initiatives, training calendars, learner records, and reporting requirements.
Support performance management, employee development plans, coaching, and talent development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with skills development requirements, including Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs), Annual Training Reports (ATRs), and mandatory training.
Manage training budgets, suppliers, and relationships with external training providers and learning partners.
Collaborate with HR, managers, and business leaders to deliver effective learning solutions.
Evaluate training effectiveness and provide regular reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 (Matric).
Bachelor's degree in human resources / Equivalent.
A minimum of 5–10 years' experience in Training and Development.
Experience in designing, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating training programmes.
Experience conducting training needs analyses and developing learning interventions.
Experience in facilitating training in a corporate environment.
Experience working with SETAs, Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs), and Annual Training Reports (ATRs).
Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and HR systems, preferably Sage 300 People.
