    Training Specialist - Skooch - Boksburg

    Key Responsibilities

    Training Design & Delivery:

    • Develop and deliver functional and technical training programs based on business needs.
    • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
    • Create and update training materials, manuals, and e-learning content.
    • Facilitate engaging classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training sessions.

    Technical & Functional Training:

    • Provide in-depth technical training on systems, tools, and applications relevant to employees’ roles.
    • Deliver functional training to ensure employees understand business processes and best practices.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and refine training content.

    Evaluation & Continuous Improvement:

    • Assess training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance tracking.
    • Analyze training outcomes and recommend improvements to enhance learning impact.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best training practices.

    Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Work closely with department heads, HR, and IT teams to align training programs with organizational goals.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees to reinforce learning and skill application.
    • Assist in onboarding new hires by delivering foundational functional and technical training.

    Required Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools.
    • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
    • Ability to assess training needs and develop effective programs.
    • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
    • Experience with measuring and evaluating training effectiveness.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certification in Training & Development (e.g., CPTD, ATD).
    • Experience with virtual and digital learning platforms.
    • Background in logistics industry-specific training
