UX Designer at Capitec Bank

About the Role

• We are seeking a talented and experienced UX Designer to join our dynamic team. To assume responsibility for the development, implementation, evaluation and enhancement of world-class user experience design for digital platforms, while conforming to the Capitec brand fundamentals.To enhance user experience through usability studies and contribute towards the translation of feature requirements into interactive and visual designs across platforms.The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on client experience and be able to manage themselves in a high-pressure, yet fun and relaxed environment. 

Our Ideal Candidate

• At least 5 years of experience in UX design.
• Proficiency in Figma and strong prototyping and wireframing skills.
• Background in illustration is a plus.
• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to confidently present work to senior stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Experience in app design is preferable, but not a deal-breaker.
• Familiarity with client behavioral studies or similar experience is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs.
• Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
• Present design work to EXCO and other stakeholders, owning the presentation of your work.
• Work closely with the front-end team to ensure seamless handover and implementation of designs.
• Maintain a strong focus on client experience throughout the design process.

Minimum Qualification
