VAS Technical Engineer at Huawei Technologies

Brief Job Description:

• Experienced VAS engineers with 2-4 years of experience. Having prior experience of handling onsite deployment activities and having lead delivery teams
• Will be responsible for maintenance, deployment, integration and testing VAS products. Job will also require excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customer and internal teams. Will need to be able to lead teams
• Will be responsible VAS product online problems, version changes, active service and other technical support (including customer technical advice, major failure emergency recovery, online fault resolution, version upgrade, system rectification, product inspection, risk Management, major event protection)

Job Requirements:

• Prior hands-on experience in SDP, SOA and/or related VAS products is a must.
• CCNA, Linux certifications, Oracle DB certifications are added advantages
• Should have prior experience in integration and deployment projects
• Candidate must have good testing knowledge
• Candidate must have good knowledge of telecom fundamentals and architecture of GSM/CDMA networks, service oriented, service orchestration architectures
• Candidate must have good SS7/SIGTRAN knowledge
• Candidate must have basic IP networking knowledge
• OS-Linux knowledge is a must. Person should be able to install configure, troubleshooting and carry out regular operations on the OS. Knowledge of scripting such as Shell/AWK/PERL will be advantageous
• Experience of Oracle Database (Installation/Configuration/DML/DDL) is a must
• Candidate must have knowledge of at-least 3 protocols such as SMPP, Diameter, ParlayX, OneAPI, HTTP+XML, SOAP, SNMP, PAP, MM7, etc.
• Candidate must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
