    Vendor Management Partner (Recruitment)

    About the role:
    The Vendor Engagement Partner is responsible for end-to-end permanent recruitment via the supply chain client have a suitable number of high-quality candidates for each position that has been allocated to go to the external market via agency. These roles tend to be senior or Partner level hires.

    As our Vendor Engagement Partner, they will own all elements of the supply chain relationship, they are responsible for managing the Hiring Manager through the recruitment process including agency briefing, shortlisting, CV feedback, and offer management.

    Responsibilities:

    • Working across Financial Services (Wealth Management and Financial Planning) and Professional Services (Tax, Audit and Advisory and Central Services (Legal, IT, Digital) vacancies
    • End-to-end management of the agency relationships
    • Ensures agency Preferred Supplier List meets the needs of the business and divisions
    • Receives the role from the Search Consultant where previous sourcing activity has taken place or when agreed OR
    • Manages the recruitment process end-to-end and directly with the Hiring Manager where requisition is deemed 'agency sourced only'
    • Selects the shortlist of PSL agencies to release roles to
    • Schedules and leads agency briefings, with the support of the Hiring Manager where applicable
    • Ensures agency partners follow clearly defined processes and rules of engagement with the business
    • Ensures agency candidates are kept up to date in the ATS, ensuring no ambiguity over candidate ownership
    • Manages feedback and offer negotiations directly with suppliers
    • Hosts supplier townhalls to share overall TS&W and divisional purpose, proposition, USP's to support talent attraction
    • Leads preliminary supplier negotiations
    • Monitors and reports on supplier performance (measuring speed, volume, quality)
    • Query management and conflict resolution with supply chain.

    Who you are:

    • Demonstrable direct recruitment experience with multinational businesses from either inhouse, RPO or agency background
    • The ability to adopt the techniques, creativity, and judgement necessary to become a trusted adviser to senior internal and external supply chain
    • Able to work collaboratively with colleagues - in this case the Relationship Manager, Search Consultants or Recruitment Partner who will be based in the UK
    • Motivated by an intellectually stimulating recruitment environment and able to think outside the box and challenge the 'norm when engaging with the supply chain.
    • A strong communicator and be able to negotiate firmly, both with the candidate and with the line managers, HR business partners and the supply chain
    • The drive to continually look for ways to support the team in its continuous improvement and seek to improve quality of service for clients.
