• Analyse data using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques.
• Identify and assess trends, patterns and abnormalities in large data sets.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance reports.
• Derive recommendations for performance improvement.
• Analyse spare parts supply chain processes.
• Identify areas of efficiency improvements.
• Lead warehouse improvement projects.
• Develop concepts for improvements, including business cases and resource planning.
• Manage packing consumption and ordering process.
• Analyse MHE utilisation.
• Conduct process takt time studies.
• Execute process/productivity improvement projects.
• Identify potential operational risks and develop countermeasures.
• Analyse processes within the distribution centre and suggest efficiency improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Grade: 12 Matric Certificate.
• Industrial engineering degree.
• Lean manufacturing or Black Belt six sigma.

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
• Work well under pressure and maintain good customer relations.
• Analytical and strategic skills to identify problems thereafter solve them.
• Budget management.

Experience:

• Experience in commercial vehicle/metal equipment/agri- & construction/heavy engineering industry - 3 years.
