Wind Energy Analyst at Scatec Solar

Main responsibilities

• Review wind met mast and wind met mast data for IEC compliance or good industry practise
• Conduct or approve preliminary and final AEP accurately and timeously based on the information provided
• Support in evaluating the technical business case and provide input to the plausibility of the project
• Review the WTG wind class for the projects as per IEC 61400
• Review and select wind turbine suppliers based on maximizing yield, and considering specific site conditions
• Micro Siting for wind turbines based on site conditions
• CFD analysis for projects with complex terrains
• Review and evaluate technical documentation and contracts (WTG supply / operation agreement, PPA, Grid Code, Connection Agreement, etc.)

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic/Electricasl/Electro-Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years experience related to wind energy modelling
• Experience in WaSP analysis and CFD analysis (e.g. Windsim or other)
• Experience in Weather data sets related to wind
• Experience in Utility Scale Wind Project design and execution (on-shore and off-shore)
