Winding Engine Driver at Hire Resolve

Description:

• Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Winding Engine Driver to join their mining company based in the Free State. You will be responsible for safely operating winding equipment to transport personnel and materials while ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate winding equipment to safely hoist and lower personnel, materials and ore in accordance with safety standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and respond to operational issues, alarms and emergency situations.
• Conduct routine operational checks and record logbook entries, stoppages and incidents.
• Identify and report mechanical or electrical faults and support basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, procedures and operating instructions.
• Participate in inspections, audits and safety risk assessments.
• Report incidents, abnormalities and equipment defects to relevant supervision.
• Maintain safe working practices and ensure adherence to operational procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Winding Engine Driver’s Certificate of Competency
• Onsetter Certificate
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Winding Engine Driver on AC and DC machines within an underground mining environment
• Valid Driver's License
