Fives Services Mzansi (FSM), a subsidiary of the Fives Group dedicated to the Aluminium industry, has developed in its sector, a know-how in the design and manufacture of equipment for the production of primary aluminium. Its highly complex products (special electrolysis machines, baking furnaces ...) of recognized reliability are constantly evolving to meet the needs of its customers.
The Workshop Planner / Repairs Lead will report to the Workshop Manager and will be based in Richards Bay. The Workshop Planner / Repairs Lead will be responsible for preparing and monitoring planning schedules of all repairs from the initial proposal stages through to engineering, procurement, sales, delivery, installation and commissioning phases. The Workshop Planner / Repairs Lead will be required to report and measure the progress of each activity and will be responsible for the development and consolidation of expertise, methodologies, tools and best practices related to resource planning and risk management.
The successfull candidate will have 2 or more years experience planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment (machining, fabrication, assembly and site installation).
Must be pro-active, good at problem solving with excellent communication skills.
Technical qualification will be advantageous
