Bachelor’s or B. Tech degree or National Diploma in Information science and/or systems analysis
At least 1 year’s relevant experience in systems analysis or information management
Relevant experience with specialist water and sanitation software or spatial information systems (GIS) as applied to the water and sanitation field will be an advantage
Valid driver’s licence Code 8
Key Performance Areas
Assists with Managing and enhancing the Water and Sanitation Department’s Information Management Systems
Assists with data analysis, information summary compilation and reporting/presentation thereof
Assists with Project Management for development of new or updated Information Management Systems, software licensing and Software Maintenance Agreements (SMAs)
Assists with drafting tenders and supply chain management processes
Assists with maintenance and coordination of the department’s information systems
