ZEC Operations Planner & PPM - Alrode Brewery at The South African Breweries (SAB)

Key Outputs and Responsibilities:

• Liaise with ZEC Product owner to update & maintain product development backlog
• Leads raw materials planning, forecasting, ordering, payment, budget control, supplier management and effective material quality controls
• Liaise with stakeholders to determine project timelines & conduct review meetings
• Work with MEO planning to ensure ZEC support for major overhauls & annual shuts
• Plan & optimize finished parts stock levels, improve production efficiencies & maintain ZEC product catalogue
• Facilitate and lead the planned production pre meeting with a focus on materials, equipment and resource requirements
• Identify and realize cost savings through initiatives such as procurement or production bundling & schedule optimizations
• Coordinate outbound logistics of finished goods & manage distribution partners.
• Compute KPIs and publish weekly reports on KPIs
• Track the cost & savings associated with RE initiatives to ensure financial viability of ZEC
• Facilitate systemic problem solving and drives continuous improvement to minimize nonvalue adding activities to improve waste or drive process improvements

Minimum Requirements:

• Btech or Bachelor's degree in industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years FMCG or beverages experience in industrial engineering and maintenance
• Familiar with OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) and plant legislative laws
• Is an experienced practitioner of the manufacturing way and VPO
• Prior experience in working in an engineering workshop would be an advantage
