• We have an amazing opportunity for a Sales Agent to join our team in Alberton, Gauteng. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?
• The successful candidate will be responsible for reaching daily, weekly, and monthly mobile sales targets and all other targets related to increasing the mobile customer base. Understand customer needs and handle different types of personalities. Represent the brand professionally and positively.

What You’ll Do For The Brand:

• Customer Service: Assist clients with opening accounts and all betting queries
• Drive daily sales and activations through the effective demonstration and/or explanation of mobile products, usage methods, and services to influence punters to purchase products or use our services
• Drive mobile marketing campaigns to increase sales and sign up new online accounts
• Must keep records of their sales activities and report their progress to management daily
• Promote the mobile brand.
• Set up and arrange displays at outlets, events, and promotions to attract the attention of prospective and existing punters.
• Assist customers in submitting correct FICA documents when opening a new account (FICA requirements: Clear ID)
• Ensure new customer uses the sign-up bonus to bet when an account is opened and show the customer how to bet on the mobile application.
• Keep work areas neat and tidy to promote a positive image to customers.
• Ensure appropriate management, safekeeping, and maintenance of all mobile equipment.
• Weekly completion of Moodle, bet strike and Voice Note Training, and Trainers on Wheels
• Might be required to roam between branches and stores as per operational needs
• Any other related duties that might be required within the business

Responsibilities

Recruitment and Selection 

• Source and shortlist applicants on selected vacancies.
• Scheduling interviews for HRC and management. 
• Ensuring all required documents are received from the applicants timeously.
• Conducting pre-employment checks and references on selected candidates. 
• Ensuring that all new employee details and documents are accurately submitted to Payroll before cut-off date of each month.

On Boarding 

• Liaise with the Area Manager and Training Facilitators on training dates.
• New team member’s induction by providing orientation information packs, reviewing company policies, gathering               payroll information; explaining and obtaining signatures for all benefit funds.

Terminations 

• Ensure relevant parties are timeously informed of terminations. 
• Consolidate weekly termination updates

Industrial Relations 

• Assist with the tracking of IR actions
• Ensure signed warnings are uploaded on the system timeously

Maintenance of HRIS / ESS

• Transactional administrative functions entail filing, data capturing, updated record keeping and regular team member         file audits.

Adhoc responsibilities

• Adhoc reporting as required

Qualifications

What You’ll Do For The Brand:

• Engage with Product suppliers and manage relationships with all product suppliers. 
• Maintain all current betting platforms by identifying shortfalls and introducing new features and solutions.
• Identifying new innovations, promotions/ competitions and ways in which to market your product.
• Ensure enhancement of the Company product(s) and Improving the functionality for the end users of these applications.

• Campaign conceptualization and implementation in collaboration with Team Support 
• Event management including planning, branding and working with social media and marketing team for promotion
• Regional specific campaigns and events roll out 
• Identify branding and partnership opportunities as well as new business opportunities
• Branding roll out (containers, taxi ranks, billboards, radio, newspaper etc.) 
• Consulting and collaborating with retail marketing on brand campaigns 
• Training on product and marketing campaigns.
• Advise on improving promotions and personalizing for specific brands/outlets/markets
