    Sales Representative

    Sales Representative

    • Our client is looking for a Sales Representative & Product Developer to join their Sales team and play a key role in bringing cutting-edge seed varieties to market.
    • This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working directly with farmers to deliver high-quality products that enhance productivity and drive agricultural innovation.
    • The position requires the candidate to be based in the Lowveld area, preferably in or around Tzaneen, Hoedspruit or Dullstroom.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience, ideally in the agricultural sector.
    • Based in the Lowveld area, covering Tzaneen (North) to Dullstroom (West) and Komatipoort.
    • Matric Qualification.
    • Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy or any related field (advantageous).
    • Willingness to travel regularly within the abovementioned areas.
    • Driver’s License and own vehicle (Company Vehicle provided).

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed sales objectives by leveraging product knowledge and understanding the client’s needs.
    • Expand Market Presence: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong partnerships with clients to increase market share and strengthen the client’s footprint in the region.
    • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients by understanding their specific challenges and providing customised solutions that add value to their operations.
    • Provide Technical Support: Act as a trusted advisor to customers by resolving product-related issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal departments to share market intelligence, support strategic planning, and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and services.

    Production Manager

    Production Manager:

    • Our client, based in Johannesburg Central, a leading company specialising in manufacturing, is seeking a skilled Production Manager to join their team.
    • The ideal candidate will have proven experience in production management, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 6 years’ experience as a Production Foreman.
    • Essential: Matric.
    • Good command of English, both written and verbal.
    • Knowledge of machinery is required.
    • Line management courses and tertiary education will be considered preferable.
    • Previous management experience in a production environment.
    • Beneficial: Experience working in the rubber manufacturing industry.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Must have own vehicle and a valid Driver’s License.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ensure only high-quality blanks are used in the manufacturing process.
    • Guarantee that products are produced according to technical specifications and quality standards.
    • Have the authority and responsibility to halt the production process if any deviation from the established standards occurs.
    • Ensure operators work efficiently and meet production output targets.
    • Ensure operators are adequately trained and follow their respective work instructions.
    • Maintain necessary records as required by management to demonstrate proper control and accountability.
    • Monitor machinery to ensure it is operating correctly and effectively.
    • Maintain and uphold the Leader Tread quality systems in place.
    • Manage and control the labor assigned to you, ensuring optimal performance.
    • Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained within your section.

    • Ensure operators have access to the necessary tools and equipment to perform their tasks effectively.
    • Ensure that off-cuts and end-of-molding blanks are sent to the extruder/mixer.
    • Enforce discipline within the team when necessary to maintain a productive and respectful work environment.
