    IT Office Administrator

    IT Office Administrator

    • Our client, a small dynamic and growing Information Technology company based in Faerie Glen, Pretoria East, is seeking a detail-oriented IT Office Administrator to support their internal team.
    • The ideal candidate must be willing to fit the mold by providing IT project support, Basic Bookkeeping, and office support.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Matric.
    • 2+ years’ experience in an administrative or office support role.
    • Strong organisational and time management skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Comfortable working with cloud-based tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Xero).
    • Advantageous: Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems and familiarity with Xero accounting software.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Administrative and Office Support:

    • Answer and direct incoming calls.
    • Manage couriers, vendor quotes, and general office coordination.
    • Handle email correspondence and follow-ups.
    • Assist with general ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed.

    Project and Helpdesk Coordination:

    • Maintain master project and ticket lists.
    • Monitor progress on open tickets and escalate where needed.
    • Track and follow up on project milestones and client requests.
    • Communicate updates to clients and request required information.
    • Keep internal documentation up to date, including training materials, procedures, and configuration records.

    Bookkeeping and Finance Support (Xero):

    • Upload supplier invoices and expense slips.
    • Liaise with accountants and ensure accurate financial documentation.
    • Assist with invoicing, expense capturing, and payment follow-ups.
    • Research and resolve discrepancies in payments or expenses.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Conduct basic user testing and provide non-technical user support.
    • Compile reports from Xero and Google Analytics upon request.
    • Perform online research and assist with marketing-related tasks.
