    Field Support Supervisor: Food and Beverage

    Purpose:

    Join Ecolab’s sales team as a Field Support Supervisor in the Food and Beverage market. Within our industry leading Institutional division, this office management opportunity plays a key role in supporting an area’s leadership team made up of 100+ sales associates and $50-100 million in sales volume. In this position, you will oversee the Field Support Center (FSC) by supervising and developing a team of two to four administrative assistants by delegating assignments and overseeing the workflow of the office. You will offer expertise on daily operations to optimize our field team’s ability to deliver best in class solutions for our customers.

    What You Will Do:

    • Recruit, train and develop Field Support Center staff
    • Prepare confidential communication including policies and procedures set forth by the Area Vice President

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Completed Bachelor’s degree or Advanced National Diploma.
    • 1 year of experience in a sales organization
    • 2 years of Executive Assistant experience
    • Customer service experience where you have directly interfaced with customers

    Project Engineer- Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering

    Job Description: 

    As a project engineer you will be responsible for the following duties:

    • Perform engineering design and costing for chemical dispensing system and water and wastewater treatment system.
    • Manage the timeline and budgetary cost set for the project management, ensuring compliance with formal contractual obligations and performance criteria.
    • Serve as a primary, day to day customer point of contact for projects,      communicating directly with the applicable members of the Nalco sales representatives.
    • Maintains excellence written and oral communication with customers and applicable Company contact.
    • Work with project developers and field organization representatives to meet the deadlines in all related work assigned,
    • Perform troubleshooting at the field or remotely for Company supplied chemical dispensing and water treatment systems.
    • Conduct job safety analysis and risk assessment prior to all site work and ensure sub-contractors adhering to safe working practice and design specifications.
    • Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of the industry by monitoring new developments, new products, new research, new concepts, etc in the industry.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering
    • At least 5- 6 years of industry experience ( ie: Water or Wastewater treatment, Oil & Gas / Pharmaceutical )
    • Proficient in Autocad software will be an added advantage
    • Relevant project management experience

    Compliance Specialist (1 Year Contract)

    Purpose: 

    Ecolab is seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist - based in South Africa. The ideal candidate will possess 4-5 years of relevant experience and a strong background in conducting investigations and delivering training to raise compliance awareness. The role includes reinforcement of ABAC policy across SSA and may evolve to include overseeing the due diligence for intermediaries in accordance with FCPA regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee Compliance activities across SSA, including East and West Africa.
    • Conduct thorough investigations into compliance-related matters.
    • Collaborate with management to provide recommendations based on investigation findings.
    • Interact with associates at all levels of the organization to address compliance concerns and provide guidance.
    • Ensure reinforcement and implementation of ABAC (Anti bribery/anti-corruption) policy throughout the organization.
    • Assist in delivering awareness training sessions to raise compliance awareness across SSA.
    • Oversee due diligence process for intermediaries and ensuring alignment with FCPA regulations.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance initiatives and strategies.
    • Provide support during ABAC audits related to compliance matters.

    Requirements:

    • Ethical mindset with a commitment to upholding compliance standards.
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Law, Finance).
    • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Compliance/Legal/Audit roles.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English.

    Export and Import Controller

    Job Purpose: 
    Job Characteristics: Places purchase orders, selects and negotiates with approved vendors and evaluates vendor reliability. Obtains materials from suppliers at lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need. Follows up on orders to expedite delivery and shipment. Schedules deliveries and obtains certifications of delivery. Checks and approves payment invoices for orders placed.

    Education/Work Experience: Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain related discipline, Procurement, Logistics, or related business qualification and up to three years of work experience.

    Independence Level/Reports to: Under direct supervision. Sources vendors, negotiates competitive pricing, takes advantage of special purchases and/or combines orders to obtain the most favorable pricing. Normally reports to Logistics Manager.

    Primal responsibility will be to see to all warehouse operations safely and accurately. Ensure all orders are picked timeously and accurately. Conducting of monthly cycle counting and reporting on time. Maintaining 98% inventory accuracy at all times and will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and not limited to these.

    Export

    •  Assist vendors with preparation of commercial documents for first sale (international) transactions. Assemble details (document requirements, routing instructions, tariff codes, etc.) for first sale orders and furnish to vendors. Review final documents.
    •  Monitor shipments and Customs clearance. Communicate status, delays to appropriate parties. Resolve shipment issues, and possess the ability to determine when to elevate to management for resolution.
    •  Maintain Import and Export document files in accordance with Federal regulations and Company policy.
    •  Perform Administrative tasks: copying, filing, faxing, scanning.
    •  Providing status reports on all export shipments
    •  Arrange pre-shipment inspections for all countries that require it
    •  Request approvals for all airfreight shipments and Dangerous Goods acceptance.
    •  Assist sales team in obtaining freight quotations (All modes of transport)
    •  Prepare all export documentation required for the export shipments

    Local deliveries

    •  Ensure that deliveries are going out daily as per the delivery schedule
    •  Working with CS to ensure that any deliveries outside of the delivery schedule have the correct authorization and that the costs are correctly allocated.
    •  Assisting CS with any queries related to deliveries for Ecolab or Nalco and arranging urgent deliveries when required
    •  Ensuring that SIFOT and DIFOT is published on a daily basis and that reasons for failure are communicated to relevant parties
    •  Ensure that POD process is followed daily and that there is a report generated on the volumes done
    •  Ensure that the Shipped not billed is completed daily with any discrepancies being dealt with on a daily basis.
    •  Arrange PE deliveries. print, MSDS, COA and Tremcard
    •  If the supplier is Ecolab, check if the product is made/re-packed.
    •  Ask for an order from customer care so that it can be released and booked in for shipping to the customer.
    •  Follow up on POD’s
    •  Publish email on SIFOT/DIFOT with reason from Planning and CS
    •  Complete global templates on a monthly basis and provide graphs for OGSM

    Warehouse

    •  Ensure that daily cycle counts commence
    •  Any discrepancies are rectified and reported
    •  Ensure all finish goods are receipted timeously
    •  Ensure all imported PO’s are costed and receipted timeously
    •  All customer returns are completed correctly and stored
    •  Maintain full compliance of COC adherence
    •  Ensure daily picking commence accurate and in time for delivery
    •  Preparation for annual and audit stock takes are done
    •  Participation in all stock takes
    •  Maintain accurate inventory at all times with minimal stock count losses
    •  Eliminate quality related issues
    •  Ensure that monthly KPI’s are updated and reported in time.
