    Production Manager- Pretoria

    Description

    • To manage the animal health product formulation plants and optimize production outputs.

    Responsibilities:

    •  To manage production to achieve targets most efficiently and cost-effectively 
    •  Increase the productivity of the department by efficient planning
    •  Ensure efficient use of resources (staff, equipment, materials) in the department
    •  Analyse statistical data to identify problem areas and opportunities
    •  Timeously submit all production reports
    •  Manage the communication and coordination between production and other functions such as supply chain (warehousing), QC, maintenance, QA, etc. to ensure availability of raw material for production
    •  To minimize risk to the organization through effectively managing company assets and maximizing processes and controls
    •  To learn key processes, layouts of services, production processes, and production flow layouts
    •  To ensure compliance with all Safety, Health and hygiene legislative requirements and company policies and procedures
    •  To ensure that staff is trained, equipped and motivated through effective staff management processes
    •  To monitor costs to ensure operation within budget and to maximize investment and utilization of resources.

    Requirements

    • Degree / A National Diploma in Industrial Engineering or Planning
    •  At least three years experience as a Production Manager in chemical, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or food industries
    •  Intensive knowledge of relevant legislation (HACCP, OSH Act, BCEA, EE and SD)
    •  Extensive strategic thinking and analytical skills
    •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
    •  Unwavering focus on delivering results and problem-solving
    •  Proactive and results-driven.

    HR Manager (Pretoria)

    • To lead the Human Resource function of CPT and Pharma to create and enable talent / human capability that will foster and reinforce a unique culture in support of the implementation of the business strategy and adding value to all stakeholders (leaders, employees, investors, clients, community), thereby making a substantial contribution to sustainable business performance.

    Responsibilities:

    •  Ensuring compliance with HR regulations
    •  Providing reliable HR services
    •  Acting as a trusted and credible advisor
    •  Successfully implementing HR initiatives and projects
    •  Meeting important HR metrics
    •  Developing and maintaining HR policies
    •  Overseeing compliance with Employment Equity requirements
    •  Providing support for labour relations
    •  Managing skills development to promote compliance and enablement.

    Requirements

    • Relevant post-graduate degree
    •  A minimum of  10 years of HR experience
    •  3 years experience in an HR Business Partner role
    •  2 years experience in a HR Manager role
    •  In-depth Talent Management experience
    •  Experience in repositioning an HR function or building an HR function will be advantageous
    •  OD and EE experience relating to influencing and transforming an organization
