    BBBE Co-ordinator

    Function/Department : Strategy

    Position Title & Location : B-BBEE Coordinator – JHN, Clearwater

    Position Purpose :

    Responsible for the coordination and execution of all BBBEE transformation interventions across the Company Group. Ensuring that Company and all subsidiaries complies with legislative requirements and aligns to the business strategy. Support the various BBBEE initiatives in areas of ownership, management control, employment equity (EE), skills development, preferential procurement (PP) including enterprise and supplier development.

    Major/Key Accountabilities :

    Contribute to strategy

    • Assist the BBBEE lead in the delivery and execution of the BBBEE Strategy for the Company and its subsidiaries.

    • Support element managers with the crafting of appropriate implementation strategies and action plans to achieve BBBEE objectives to reach their targets.

    • Apply required knowledge to the DTI Codes of Practice and other relevant Legislation pertaining to BBBEE to produce the best result for the organization.

      Manage B-BBEE analytics and business reporting

    • Assist BBBEE lead with best practice benchmarking and research to stay abreast of developments in the industry

    • Responsible for the coordination of administrative data and system implementation

    • Monitor, analysis and evaluation monthly progress with regards to each BBBEE element.

    • Analyzing data, develop scorecard calculations from the system and developing monthly reports.

    • Generating reports for the different element managers on a monthly/ quarterly basis.

    • Assist with the preparation of BBBEE presentations as guided by the BBBEE lead

    • Ensure that all element managers update data onto the system to ensure accurate reporting.

      Planning

    • Develop a BBBEE plan for the subsidiaries to implement.

    • Support the BBBEE lead with the implementation of training and awareness plans.

    • Support activities that promote the implementation of BBBEE throughout the organisation across elements.

    • Ensuring that BEE plan produces accurate and timeous data and calculations.

      Coordination of Verification Audits

    • Coordinate all preparations pertaining to the annual BBBEE verification process.

    • Collate all required data for auditing with each element managers

    • Assist with the preparation of BBBEE Verification Package

    • Support element managers where required.

    • Manage the annual BBBEE verifications by the appointed verification agency.

      Qualifications :

    • Degree in Human Resources, or LLB or equivalent

    • Advanced knowledge of MS programs

    • General business management understanding across functional departments

    • 3 to 5 years’ experience in transformation.

    • Good knowledge and application of B-BBEE generic and sector codes, Skills Development and Employment Equity Legislation.

      Experience :

    • Relevant experience as a B-BBEE coordinator

    Quality Officer

    Function/Department : Quality

    Position Title & Location :  Quality Officer, Cornubia

    Position Purpose :

    The primary purpose of the role is to promote a quality culture, support the Quality management system through monitoring at Service Centres via product and process audits. Provide support to customers in the resolution of all Quality related issues.

    Major/Key Accountabilities :

    • Conduct Supplier assessments for New Suppliers and carry out Product Quality Audits on current Suppliers; and report on findings.

    • Ensure Customer visits are carried out and communication to Customer is performed on Customer product Quality complaint investigations, ensuring effective close out of Complaints to increase Customer Satisfaction and improved NPS scores.

    • Lead Product Audits on selected Products at Service Centres as per Audit Plan, report results and advise recommendations for improvement where required.

    • Take ownership of identified Quality Projects/tasks as allocated within the Quality Department.

    • Identify and own Process Improvements in the inspection, repair, handling and storage activities of the Service Centres, focused on delivering consistent Product Quality to meet Customer expectations.

    • Co-ordinating Product Testing and R&D functions for New Product Introductions and product improvements.

    • Develop/revise Product Quality Standards as and when required by the business on New/current Products.Compile written Quality documentation (SOPs and Work Instructions) for New and existing Products.

    Scope :

    • SSA        

    • Customer Facing: Product Complaint Handing

    • Supplier Facing: Supplier Quality Assurance

    • Internal - Business Areas: Pallets, Automotive, RPC, Bins

    Challenges :

    • Auditing within a diverse culture in SSA

    • Dealing with different views & opinions across different levels of Management

    • Multiple sites to audit accurately within specified time for the region – extensive travel

    • Needs to interact and work closely with staff at Service Centres

    • Works partially by remote control with limited access to Manager

    Qualifications :

    Essential

    • Engineering/Quality Qualification – NQF7

    • Certificate in Quality Auditing

    • TQM Certificate

    Desirable

    • Quality Assurance-City and Guilds

    • Six Sigma Certification

    • SME ISO9000, Quality Management Systems

    Experience :

    • Good Understanding & Auditing in an ISO 9001 environment

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in operational processes and utilising quality systems (e.g. Six Sigma, TQM, ISO, etc.)

    • Proven communication abilities and skills

    • Dealing with Customers, Handling customer complaints with appropriate levels of responses to Customers

    • Report writing and presentation skills at an advanced level

    • Highly organised with a flexible, pro-active, self-motivated and persistent approach.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Good organisational ability and time management skills.

    • Good understanding of Food Safety Principles
