    Technician

    Repair and maintain agricultural and related equipment as a service

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

    N2 Qualified Technician

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

    3 years relevant experience (including training as an Apprentice)

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Perform repairs and maintenance of tractors and equipment
    • Build and maintain good customer relationships and ensure that customer queries and complaints are resolved within the prescribed turnaround time
    • Update job cards
    • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure that protective equipment is used as prescribed
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES

    • Valid drivers license
    • Good product knowledge in the repair and maintenance of tractors and equipment

    Boiler Maker

    The purpose of this role is to ensure the effective operation of the boiler and to safely optimize production

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • N3 or Grade 12
    • Trade Certificate– Boiler Machinery and Equipment

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layouts and procedures
    • Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cut material with powered saws, gas cutting equipment to match measurements).
    • Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
    • Align components using callipers, rules etc. and clamp pieces.
    • Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
    • Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
    • Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
    • Development of chutes and spouts
    • Repair existing machinery
    • Repair, extend or alter structures
    • Mechanical maintenance on production machines
    • Ensure compliance to health and safety regulations and inform your supervisor of any potential hazards and/or breaches of safety regulations that may pose a risk to food safety

    Department Head Admin (Retail)

    Ensure all administrative processes are updated and followed as per requirements.

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

    • Grade 12

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

    • 3 years relevant administrative experience

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Handle all employee-related matters and correspondence for the branch.
    • Check all documents received and direct them to the relevant working area.
    • Oversee stock counting and investigate stock variances
    • Run the price analysis report.
    • Collect and process petty cash where applicable.
    • Handle the cash control account and reconcile cash and make bank deposits.
    • Report on all abnormal administrative situations.
    • Ensure all filing is done timeously.
    • Ensure compliance with the AFGRI control matrix (AFGRI policies and procedures).
    • Assist the Branch Manager with administrative functions during his/her absence.
    • Complete IOD reports.

    Administration Clerk (Retail)

    Responsible for effective maintenance of the administrative functions of the branch.

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

    Grade 12

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

    1 year administration experience

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Receive and compare stock to delivery notes.
    • Receive and file all delivery notes and assist with ad-hoc receiving duties.
    • Ensure that all documents are processed and that the number sequence on the system is correct.
    • Collect invoices electronically for the receiving process and link invoices with delivery notes and orders.
    • Capture, process and manage claims (warranty claims, damaged items, short or surplus deliveries and expired stock).
    • Maintain good client relationships with internal and external clients and resolve client queries.
    • Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports from the system (outstanding claims, outstanding purchase orders, negative on-hand reports, etc,).
    • Generate stock-taking reports and assist with quarterly stock-taking.
    • Capture stock count sheets on the system.
    • Generate variance report and report variance to line manager.
    • Regularly communicate with suppliers on all outstanding invoices, credit notes or discrepancies of stock.
    • Ensure that codes, prices and stock correspond with orders and stock received.
    • Ensure that cash-ups are done daily.
    • Ensure that cash surpluses and shortages are paid in as per policy.
    • Report daily cash up (balances & discrepancies) to the Regional Banking Clerk.
