    Compliance, Risk and Quality Assurance Practitioner

    The role:

    The Compliance, Risk and Quality Assurance Practitioner is responsible for identifying policy, procedure and process control weakness by collecting, analysing, and evaluating data and trends on aspects of quality and risk to assist in assessing and documenting results of quality assurance and control processes.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for POPI compliance, for PCI- DSS compliance and implementing an ISO27001 compliance analysis for the business.

    The detail:   

    • Maintain and administer the company risk register to ensure key risks are identified, analysed, and mitigated with appropriate internal controls. 
    • Implement quality assurance and risk management processes, tools, and initiatives to ensure sustainable delivery of efficient operations. 
    • Facilitate the implementation of exception reports against key performance standards and assist in monitoring corrective actions.
    • Identify process control weaknesses and engage the business to find solutions.
    • Assist in the development, enhancement and implementation of the appropriate risk management and quality assurance policies, procedures and systems.
    • Use programs to collect, analyse, and evaluate data and trends on aspects of quality and risk to assist in assessing and documenting results of quality assurance and control processes.
    • Report findings that stimulate continuous improvement.
    • Participate in driving change to ensure internal and external recommendations are implemented and evaluated in a timely manner. 
    • Analyse the financial impact on the company when risks occur.
    • Perform risk assessments by analysing current risks and identifying potential risks affecting the company.
    • Perform risk evaluations by evaluating the company’s previous handing of risk and comparing potential risks with criteria established by the company.
    • Ensure the ability of business continuity plans to limit risks.
    • Build risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company.
    • Perform functions associated with quality control and assurance operations, including calibration tasks and implementing quality assurance procedures related to operations.
    • Assist with risk management audits from business partners (SBSA, Cell C, MTN, PnP, etc) as required.
    • Provide quality assurance and risk management services to internal stakeholders by implementing and maintain a compliance risk management process.
    • Proactively support the resolution of escalated customer queries or complaints to ensure risk to business is kept at a low.

    We’d like to hear from you if you have:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in quality management, risk management or a relevant discipline? An LLB Degree is preferred, but not required.
    • At least 4 – 5 years' experience in a similar compliance, assurance and/or risk management position.
    • Demonstrated experience in the successful implementation of quality and risk systems.
    • Experience investigating incidents and complaints.
    • Demonstrated experience implementing and evaluating policies, procedures, protocols, and work practices.
    • Demonstrated experience conducting and implementing quality assurance improvements.

    Key skills and attributes:

    • Demonstrated understanding of key risks related to the provision of products and services.
    • Ability to promote the philosophy of continuous quality assurance, improvement, and risk management.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of company risk register and hierarchy of controls.

    Junior Learning and Development Specialist

    As the Junior Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for analysing, designing and developing high quality training content for technical and non-technical learning programs for various projects within the People team. This role focuses on instructional design, curriculum development, employee development and facilitation and program management.

    The detail:

    • Assess training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives.
    • Create, organize, plan, and present various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers.
    • Develop unique training programs to fulfil workers specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
    • Create and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
    • Present training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
    • Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
    • Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.

    Product Tester

    The Product Tester is responsible for performing audits and tests of software products in accordance with software testing plans, policies and procedures. The incumbent of this position is skilled in the software testing environment, database management, and component specific software and languages. The primary responsibility of this position is to catch, document and report any bugs, defects and coding errors that happen during testing to the software development team.

    Key Focus and Duties:

    • Performing audits and tests of software products in accordance with software test plans, policies and procedures

    Coaching and Developing

    • Coach, mentor and develop the intake.

    • Identify and address any additional training that your training intake requires.

    Collaboration

    • Actively work with Trainers and Contact Centre Management to ensure that all intakes are geared towards achieving the success of the campaign.
