Role Purpose
- Ensure the development, implementation, monitoring and performance of all the end-to-end processes for Liquid Intelligent Technologies’ operations, as related to the enterprise operating model. Contribute to definition of operating model and BPM framework, tools and standards to assure the highest levels of organisational effectiveness, customer experience, cost optimisation and revenue generation for LIT SA. Facilitate the development and maintenance of Company Policies, by in accordance with Knowledge and Document Management policy and standards through planned reviews and updates. Facilitate the implementation and maintenance of all relevant ISO certifications. Ensure the Quality Management System and related Document Management Structures is always kept up to date and to standard.
Ensure Effective Business Process Management across the Liquid Intelligent technologies South Africa.
- Formulate and maintain the Business Process Management Policy, framework, standards, and calendar. Include the planned facilitation & maintenance of LIT SA policies, processes, procedures and support documentation is available on a functioning portal. Review BPM Backlog report and develop remediation plans. Work closely with Operational Excellence team to plan and deliver planned and unplanned tasks and requirements. Assist with facilitation and effective resolution of all BPM issues as may be required by business. Align with Return-on-Investment Assurance (RoIA) principles. Monitor and manage the Document Management Structures on a planned basis.
Ensure all relevant ISO Standards Certification is achieved.
- Formulate and define the Liquid Intelligent Technologies ISO Certification policy, framework, and calendar. Included but not limited to (9001, 20000 & 270000) as defined by OE Strategy and BPM Policy. Maintain certification through planned audits. Manage delivery of all Business Process Management processes and standards to achieve the outcome of an integrated and effective end-to-end enterprise operating model across units of Liquid Intelligent technologies South Africa. Review Internal ISO Audit reports and develop plans with Operational Excellence team to address risks, shortfalls and non-conformances. Chair formal meetings with ISO Auditors w.r.t. organisational changes, audit dates and audit preparation status. Assist BPM Audit specialists with operational challengers / escalations w.r.t. audit readiness. Report to standard on audit progress, status, and remediation. Drive awareness and compliance throughout LTSA i.t.o. certifications. Drive continuous improvements within LTSA i.t.o. the ISO Standards.
Business Operational Effectiveness: Monitor, improve and optimise data, reporting and processes.
- Formulate, Implement, and Improve organisational effectiveness monitoring and reporting frameworks and dashboards. Discover, prioritise and remediate any process, people and platform effectiveness issues. Deliver better OE value in collaboration with BPM and all other functions across LIT SA. Design, develop and maintain self-serve, automated reporting, workflow and productivity management tools.
Requirements
Qualification:
- 3 or 4-year Degree, diploma or similar in Process, Industrial or Information Engineering. Desirable
- Certificate in Business or Project Management fundamentals (an advantage). Desirable
- Certified by SAQI/SANAS (South African Quality Institute / South African National Accreditation System) as an Internal / Lead Auditor. (an advantage). Desirable

Oversees, reviews, approves and provides “C” level sponsorship for proposal undertaken by bid team.

Role Purpose
- To develop, manage and co-ordinate all HSE requirements and strategies required to ensure that the Liquid Intelligent Technologies South Africa OHS and Environmental management programmes are in compliance (ISO14001 and ISO45001) with applicable standards, code of practices and regulatory requirements.
HSE COMPLIANCE AND PLANNING
- Ensure that the Company complies with HSE legislative requirements.
- Ensure that all HSE related permits are captured in the OPCO and Group HSE Permit Register.
- Ensure HSE related policies and procedures are updated annually, or as when required, to ensure compliance with HSE legislative requirements.
- Ensure HSE-related contractor management practices are compliant with local legislative requirements. Prepares, monitors and maintains the annual HSE budget for the oversight and approval by the Chief Financial Officer.
- Research and analyses the resources and requirements for the HSE function annually.
- Calculates and proposes an annual budget with related motivations for Capital Projects for example Fire suppression systems, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Operational requirements for approval by the Chief Financial Officer. Monitors the budget monthly and ensures that the expenditure is in line with budget parameters.
- Develop an annual operating plan for HSE including financial planning budget for approval by the Chief Financial Officer. Devolves the annual plan into specific KPAs and activities and communicates this with Departmental heads.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
- Ensure HSE related policies and procedures are updated annually, or as when required, to ensure compliance with the OPCO and Group ESMS.Implement and track the implementation and execution of the action plans to ensure the implementation of the OPCO and Group ESMS.Facilitate the implementation of HSE programs/practices through the development, management and application of processes, policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the Company complies with the relevant International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards. Report HSE KPIs on a monthly basis in compliance with the OPCO and Group HSE Policy.
- Ensure HSE-related contractor management practices are compliant with the Group ESMS.Ensure Management HSE training is conducted annually.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
- Development of HSE short and long-range objectives, policies, budgets and operating plans for the HSE department.Annually in line with liquid telecom strategy.Implements and maintains HSE management program, ISO 45001 for the company, including developing and ensure achieving certification.
- Conducts hygiene surveys and ensures implementation of findings thereof.
- Formulates company safety risk assessments and prioritises rate risk individually.
- Provides a healthy, safe and environmentally conducive working environment at ALL Liquid Intelligent Technologies SA offices and points of presence using pragmatic and cost effective initiatives.
- Keep up to date with SA legislative requirements and ensures legislative compliance by the whole company through relevant Line Managers.Participates in regular HSE meetings and prioritises the issues arising.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
- Manage the HSE incidents/ risks faced by the company effectively to minimise the number (and cost) of incidents/risks reported.Ensure preventive, periodic and emergency maintenance of fire protection equipment and alarm systems at all facilities.Ensures the development and implementation of correct training and evaluates the training to establish whether it was of benefit to LTSA.
- Ensures that all mandatory training certification is maintained and on record. Provides HSE training to employees and contractors, including induction awareness.
- Supervises first-aid and emergency teams to ensure adherence to the company's emergency plans and evacuation procedures and supervision of related traing.
- Develop and implement HSE procedures, including updating and maintaining of all relevant HSE systems.
- Maintain the procedure for controlling all HSE documents and information in accordance with the document control system of the company.
- Develop, implement and monitor systems to track Health and Safety incidents and ensures investigation and mitigation by accountable owners.Administers of COIDA (Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act) claims.
