    Branch Secretary - Paarl Luxury Estates

    Main Purpose of the Job    

    To promote a welcoming and professional branch image, through the efficient handling of clients, staff, and business associates’ queries, whether telephonically or by personal contact; and to fulfil all the administrative duties/ secretarial services of the Paarl Luxury Estates are the main focuses of this position.

    Applicants will need a valid drivers license and their own reliable vehicle.

    Key Responsibilities    

    • Fulfilling administrative and secretarial tasks for agents and the branch;
    • Compile advertising material, including for social media and other platforms;
    • Compile of brochures and portfolios;
    • Update mandate boards and files, listing properties on the in-house PGP system, keeping the website up to date and Property 24 and Private Property featured listings;
    • Rental administration;
    • General office duties including the ordering of office supplies and stationery
    • General correspondence and filing;
    • Switchboard and reception;
    • Manage the petty cash in the branch.

    Key Competencies    

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to represent our brand in every interaction;
    • Good interpersonal skills, confident with a strong service orientation;
    • Have friendly, courteous and approachable demeanour;
    • Bilingual (English and Afrikaans);
    • The ability to work in a busy, pressurised environment with excellent organisational skills;
    • Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to handle correspondence effectively;
    • Working independently and the ability to take initiative when required is absolutely essential.

    Education & Experience    

    • Matric qualification is compulsory;
    • Further qualifications will count in your favour;

    Knowledge & Skills Required    

    • Computer literacy (Ms Office, Internet explorer, Excel) and comfort with technology is essential;

    Fully Qualified Real Estate Agent (East Rand)

    Key Responsibilities    

    • Canvassing and listing new stock; building relationships with homeowners while maintaining database.
    • Must be able to use their knowledge of the area and property expertise when visiting a client.
    • Arrange and attend weekly Show Days
    • Must be objective and be able to apply sound understanding of principles when evaluating a property.
    • Must be able to compile a marketing plan for each property.
    • Attend weekly sales meetings.
    • Must be able to represent the client (seller) in a professional and efficient manner.
    • Must be able to negotiate on behalf of the client.
    • Monitoring lead inboxes and replying to incoming leads in an efficient manner.
    • Maintaining relationships with conveyancers, bond originators and other real estate agents.
    • Keeping a breast of hyperlocal property trends.
    • Building presence and authority through digital platforms I.E., social media.

    • Obtain Candidate Estate Agent Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC)
    • Complete accredited NQF 4 qualification
    • Compile a Logbook
    • Write the PDE Exam
