    Data Capturer - Cape Town

    We are looking for a skilled Data Capturer to support the project through direct service at facility level who will carry out data-related admin work, capture patient’s files, generate defaulter reports, and compile monthly statistics.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Collate and organize data into relevant data tools, systems as required by the project, including data from RedCap, facility systems and routine data.
    • Assist in making sure all ART Folders updated are captured on Health Information System
    • Assist the M&E Officer to manage monthly data reports from project staff, particularly the CLOs
    • Implement and be part of Data Quality Improvement Projects
    • Support the M&E Officer to improve routinely collected data e.g. RedCap at Anova supported facilities, by participating in data audits and data improvement activities, including training.
    • Assist the M&E Officer to collate and analyse monthly data reports from project staff, particularly the CLOs
    • Assist with submission dispatch weekly
    • Data cleaning(interrogations) at facility level
    • Safe storage of monthly backups, dispatches, and Monthly reports

    Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required

    • Grade 12
    • Tertiary qualifications an added advantage
    • Data capturing competency through experience or training
    • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Fast and accurate data capturing skills
    • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
    • Experience with TIER.Net, Prehmis, PHCIS and RedCap
    • Speak / read and write English and/or other local language an advantage

    Outreach Team Leader

    Key duties and responsibilities:

    • Lead defaulter tracing activities
    • Conduct physical tracing
    • Retention in care
    • Clinical Services
    • Offer other health related clinical screening services (Blood Pressure, Glucose, pregnancy etc.) to clients during all community outreach activities
    • Assist with collection of blood samples:
    • Ensure abnormal incidences are recorded, reported, and fast tracked for confirmation and linkage into care
    • Assist with delivery of medicine at household
    • Conduct health screening and testing services during campaigns, household visits and at facilities
    • Active Linkage to Care
    • Monitoring and reporting of outcomes
    • Stakeholder engagement
    • Cross cutting activities:
    • Promote HIV testing and screening for TB, STIs, NCDs, Cervical Cancer mental health for person.
    • Assist with training and supervision of CHWs.
    • Work with CHWs to continuously identify and map other community stakeholders providing various services to link household members for psychosocial and economic care
    • Any other tasks as agreed with line manager.

    Minimum qualifications and experience:

    • Enrolled nursing certificate or relevant qualification
    • Minimum of One year of work experience in nursing
    • Experience of working within community health programs
    • Up to date knowledge on South African HIV/TB programs, preferably in the public health sector
    • Counselling experience, especially HIV.
    • Up to date professional body registration
    • Confidentiality and discretion
    • Ability to work in a poorly resourced environment.
    • Ability to work weekends, as and when required.

    Essential Added Advantage:

    • The ability to drive will be an added advantage.
    • Experience in community outreach/WBCHOT services

    HR Manager 6-Month Contract - Cape Town

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Partner with Cluster Programme managers and provide comprehensive, Pro-active, and holistic business partnering HR service to the Clusters
    • Ensure effective implementation of all HR processes

    Data Capturer - Johannesburg

    Key duties and responsibilities:

    • Capture Patient’s information into all Database Platforms, e.g., TIER.Net and other DoH Database Applications.
    • Carry out Data quality Assessments and Audits with close Guidance from M&E Officer.
    • Conduct monthly Data validations using prescribed Tools on collected Data from DHIS, Tier.net and TB modules /ETR/Redcap.
    • Assist facility Data Capturers in populating run-charts for DIP elements.
    • Update tracing outcomes from CHWs and CLOs on the defaulter tracing tool.
    • Coordinate and collect ad-hoc and routine weekly Data from facilities by all Anova Team Members in the sub-District.

    Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

    • Resident of Sedibeng catchment area highly advantageous.
    • Data Capturing competency through experience or training.
    • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    • Good facilitation and communication skills.
    • Able to communicate in English and other South African Official Language.

    Peer Educator - Polokwane

    Key duties and responsibilities:

    Preventive services

    • Provide health education, with Anova/DoH teams, to adolescent and youth in focused health facilities
    • Create a safe space for adolescent to discuss social and health-related issues affecting them.
    • Educate youth on risky behaviour and equip them on knowledge on HIV/SRH at high volume facilities
    • Create demand for Prevention services and refer clients

    Linkage and Retention Services

    • Assist with transitioning adolescent to adult service
    • Improve retention in care and clinical outcome for adolescent living with HIV
    • Improve access and uptake of HTS and linkage to care by adolescent and young people
    • Support facilitation of adolescent groups in AYFS facilities
    • Work closely with clinical teams to enhance retention and clinical outcomes

    Capacity Building, Engagement and Administration

    • Conduct capacity-building activities for the counsellors including the updates on HTS, SRH, TB and ART care to ensure quality procedures are implemented at health facilities
    • Serve as a link between adolescent, local clinics, CBOs and other health service within the community
    • Maintain record for adolescent and youth supported through the monitoring tools: HCT tested HIV positive, linked into care, SRH and treatment adherence care support

    Minimum qualifications, experience and skills required:

    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • Local Youth between 19 and 30 years of age
    • Currently unemployed and not engaged in formal education
    • Experience in public speaking and previous leadership roles and advantage
    • Good facilitation and writing skills
    • Good problem solving
    • Punctual reliable and organized
    • Knowledge and experience in engaging with adolescent
    • Excellent interpersonal and mobilizing skills
    • Prior knowledge of HIV/AIDS and recognized HIV counselling certificate will be advantage
    • Able to conduct life skills and HIV/AIDS-related discussion groups

    Tracing Officer - Polokwane

     Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • To improve adherence to care of TB/HIV patients to PHC facilities by tracing the missed appointment clients back to care telephonically through brief adherence counselling.
    • To facilitate referral of all missed appointments of the HIV/TB programme who cannot be traced telephonically through the WWBPHCOT.
    • To give a detailed report of tracing done to facility managers per traced facility and do improvement plan.
    • Facilitate all tracing process (telephonically and physical) of the priority facilities.
    • Establish and assist with facilitation of meetings between the WBPHCOT’s and PHC facilities for tracing patients.
    • Retrieval of missed appointment list from tier.net in facilities.
    • Run the latest dispatch of all clients against the traced clients to determine the returning rate prior tracing every month.
    • Liaise with facility data capturer and WBPHCOT team leader for tracing process and report for the DORA reporting.
    • Identify factors that lead to loss and missed appointment.
    • Prepare and submit monthly report on all activities for the line manager.
    • Correct documentation of all the tracing outcomes in the facility register.

    Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required

    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • 5 years’ experience working with PLWHA especially within the community
    • Trained in basic HIV counselling and testing
    • Trained in adherence counselling
    • Shown affiliation and passion with community-based activities
    • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are required
    • Proficiency in local language (Sepedi) will be an added advantage
    • Driver’s License will be an added advantage
