    Key Individual (Part-time Consultancy position)

    • This position is responsible for providing guidance and direction to the board and the employees of LulaLend in relation to the operations of the banking platform.
    • The Key Individual plays a critical role in the business in relation to its FSP license. This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and compliances skills and knowledge, as well as a deep understanding of the financial services legislation. The right candidate will be able to guide the board, the management and employees of LulaLend to ensure compliance with FAIS

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensuring that LulaLend adheres to all the conditions of its FSP license to be obtained;
    • Ensuring that LulaLend’s policies and procedures ensure FAIS compliance and that they are implemented in the area of which Lula Lend and the Key Individual is responsible for;
    • Ensuring that all Representatives reporting to the KI maintain their fit and proper status and adhere to the General Code of Conduct;
    • Ensuring that all regulatory reporting is submitted to the FSCA, on time and with the correct information.
    • Act with due care, skill and diligence in the execution of all duties
    • Act within the standards and rules set by legislation
    • Fulfill contractual obligations as agreed to

    • RE1 Exam completed;

    Collections Analyst

    OVERALL PURPOSE

    This role would suit someone with energy, persistence and who accepts only the best (with a real passion for collections). If you’re looking to join a dynamic, young collections team, be challenged (and, importantly, be a challenger) then this role is for you. We expect you to have a drive to succeed, as this role is critical to Lulalend’s success and ensuring we recover outstanding client payments while continuing to enhance our relationship with our clients.

    • Manage outstanding client payments with an aim to recovering arrears
    • Ensure adherence to the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and other compliance regulations and security policies
    • Follow Lulalend's established collections processes (although improvements are always welcomed!)
    • Liaise with customers to understand reasons for late payment and resolve customer billing disputes
    • Respond to customer queries
    • Manage interactions with all customers diligently, courteously and professionally while collecting payments
    • Initiate strategies for collection processes and procedures
    • Negotiate payment plans in consultation with collections and credit management teams

    Commercial Credit Analyst

    OVERALL PURPOSE

    • This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate looking to work in a growing fintech business. The Commercial Credit Analyst position looks after our credit underwriting process, and relies on a combination of analytical and numerical know-how, as well as the ability to liaise and deal with customers regularly.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Engaging with clients to verify their financial/credit transactions, business performance and request additional information where need be
    • Evaluating clients’ credit data and financial data in order to determine the degree of risk involved in lending money to them
    • Preparing notes about the degree of risk in lending money to clients

    OVERALL PURPOSE

    • We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team. You will be tasked with implementing and maintaining data models with the goal of improving data reliability and quality, ensuring scalable data pipelines are working smoothly, and bugs and performance issues are quickly identified.

    UI/ UX Designer

    • This is a role reporting into our Senior Product Designer which will provide you with an opportunity to build out our UI design strategy and deliver our vision.
    • This role will see you collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design process in order to define and drive the user experience that SMEs in South Africa deserve when using financial services.     Sales Consultant

    Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Effectively respond to high volumes of incoming business funding applications from new customers.
    • Accurately analyse and interpret business funding applications from new clients. Understand which applications are ready to progress to the next phase of assessment, and which require additional information or should be declined.
    • Successfully convert applications that have been approved by our Credit Risk team into funding disbursals.
