    SHEQ Coordinator Environmental (C3)

    Job Responsibilities:

    Procurement Practitioner - Raw Materials (Gauteng)

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

    • To administer, capture and maintain Raw Material data and processes in order to assist the department in raw material supply management and to identify opportunities for improvement and cost saving for Samancor Chrome Group.

    BALANCED SCORECARD PILLARS, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY

    • Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.
    • Consider the level of risk, apply mitigation and implement control measures for residual risk (set objectives, minimum requirements, etc.)
    • Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
    • Utilise the Integrated Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status us.

    CUSTOMERS 

    • Ensure Customer Satisfaction.
    • Resolve customer queries / complaints.
    • Maintain and improve relationships with external suppliers.
    • Monitor Supplier satisfaction.

    BUSINESS PROCESSES 

    • Achieve agreed KPI Targets
    • Ensure optimal Raw Material procurement for Samancor Chrome
    • Create administrate and maintain supplier contracts on Coupa and SAP
    • Handle contract queries from all stakeholders, follow-up, liaise and provide feedback.
    • Effecting price increase on COUPA/SAP
    • Recording of daily indices and updating tables and graphs (Central Excel files)
    • Capture data from external certificates of analysis reports on to the LIMS database.
    • Updating and maintaining raw material specification on MES Specmaster
    • Maintain internal control and raw material procurement procedures.
    • Create purchase requisitions (PR) for the department.
    • Departmental ad hoc Administration, incl. procurement (invoices/orders)
    • Administrate on boarding and other Coupa forms and assist with queries.
    • Extend raw materials on SAP to BU’s and add create new material for SAP MM
    • Administrate Import vessel record keeping and other import related planning activities.
    • Coordinate and attend weekly/monthly plant meetings as required and assist as needed.
    • Assist with weekly/monthly reports when required.
