    Customer Development Manager - Evergreen

    Key Responsibilities: 

    1.    Business Development and Monitoring:

    • Building and managing relationships with key players in the customer(s) or channel at the regional and/or store level.
    • Conducting negotiations as vital (listings, planograms, displays, promotion execution etc) at regional office and/or store level. 
    • Needs to conduct regional/national business meetings and take control of pricing and the P&L.
    • Implementing and maintaining in-store tactics developed within Category Management partnerships with the Customer(s)
    • Co-ordinating special events (store-level sell-in and communication, materials management in-store etc.) in co-operation with the Shopper Development Manager.
    • Working with customer service to track orders, troubleshoot and achieve customer service KPI’s.
    • Working with Logistics to plan, analyse and forecast customers needs and to ensure timely and complete delivery.
    • Monitoring sales and distribution performance, particularly for new products and taking timely action to drive continuous improvement.
    • Monitoring competitive activity at store level, recording and consolidating key activities, supervising speed and breadth of distribution and identifying competitive best practices and discussing with the BDM so that they can proactively respond with strategic/tactical refinements.
    • Establishment of account co-op activity and annual promotional grids
    • Regular promotional analysis to determine whether these activities are delivering positive ROI's. 

    2. In - Store Personnel Management:

    • Regularly visiting stores in order to identify areas of improvement
    • Monitoring performance vs. objectives, providing continuous coaching and feedback and conducting appraisals based on data.
    • Reviewing Field Sales and Merchandiser itineraries’ (location, frequency, duration vs plan) and roles to ensure efficient deployment of limited resource.
    • Giving direction to in-store staff (merchandisers) and ensuring that they are trained and updated on new products, promotions and merchandising objectives. 
    • Identifying training needs and developing training plans with the Team Leader.
    • Working with the SDM to develop tools, merchandising materials and in-store programmes for effective shelf management to induce shoppers to purchase Colgate products at shelf.
    • Supervising the consistent and accurate collection of data to allow monitoring of 5P performance vs target. In – Store Compliance
    • Clearly communicating in-store objectives and supervising execution of 5P targets, product availability, assortment by store format, shelf pricing (regular and promoted) promotion implementation vs plan, share of shelf and planograms, POP placement vs plan.
    • Resolving operational issues at head/regional offices or in-store 

    Required Qualifications: 

    • A Bachelor's degree
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG Customer Account Management

    Senior Logistics & Inventory Manager

    What you will do:

    • Effectively managing 3PL Warehousing, Distribution and order to invoice, including CP owned DC’s
    • Developing collaborative partnerships with both CP colleagues and customers.
    • Accountable for effectively fulfilling customer requirements and is responsible for ensuring that the Supply Chain is aligned with customer expectations.
    • Ensure the highest level of Customer Service is provided to our Customers through the development and maintenance of Order Fulfillment Best Practices (inclusive of Vendor Managed Inventory relationships).
    • Responsible for Logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and working with the entire Supply Chain and Sales organizations to maximize results. Manages the Logistics processes to deliver regional performance objectives, as measured by corporate and local KPI's.
    • Executes a logistics network master plan, as well as organizational capabilities, necessary to support future business growth.
    • Accountable for the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Logistics Operating Budget inclusive of all Transportation and Warehousing costs and lead efforts to optimize the same
    • Able to develop and maintain logistics best practices that deliver superior customer service while meeting budget expectations.
    • Communicate proactively with Customer Development Teams when supply execution issues are experienced to manage customer’s expectations.
    • Supports management of SLOB: early identification of SKU’s at risk, Aging stock, tracking and analysis, follow up on clearance plans.
    • Issues appropriate corporate communications regarding Situation Alerts, EOHS incidents.
    • Manages the outsourcing and ongoing relationships with Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers Warehousing, Distribution and Clearing & Forwarding, to deliver performance requirements.
    • Acts as a functional resource, providing support on task forces, acquisition studies, and major project support.
    • Empowers subordinates by way of training, information sharing, coaching, feedback, appraisals, and delegation, to ensure the development of people and organizational capabilities, and performs annual activities related to performance management.
    • Performs other duties as assigned
    • Complies with all policies and standards

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Supply Chain 
    • Minimum 5 years of Logistics experience 
    • Prior experience in managing people/Coaching and Development role
    • Working Experience in SAP/BI/APO

    Maintenance Engineer - Canelands Verulam

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Inspect all plant equipment on a regular basis to ensure safe and optimum condition.
    • Schedule maintenance on a planned and breakdown basis (Maintenance Program)
    • Supervise all legal inspections in the plant related to Equipments and Systems.
    • Coordinate and supervise Maintenance/Engineering staff in plant maintenance
    • Control Engineering R&M spend portion of factory budget
    • Ensure that all engineering repairs and installations are done according to an acceptable standard and alignment with the operational team
    • Design and Manage Capital Projects as per Maintenance-Business Needs
    • Active participation into the Commissioning of New Installations and Projects
    • Implementation of Planned/Preventive Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance as per the FP&R standard (Factory Performance and Reliability)
    • Active Role in implementation of FP&R Standards
    • Continuous Improvement: Analyze Downtime, Root Causes, Forward Action Plans in order to carry out continuous improvements on all workstations and better performance.
    • Analyze all workstations' performance daily, display and update plant performance and maintenance important metrics (Indicators)
    • Control, Monitor and Manage Spare Parts / Equipments Cycle Inventory (Including Tags)
    • Maintenance Program: Master Plan, AM, PM, Predictive M, Criticality of Equipment, Maintenance the right database in SAP EMA. important metrics, Training, SOPs, etc)
    • Active participation in the development of Root Cause Analysis, FAP, CAPA, SOPs, Training, etc

    End results / outputs of the work 

    • Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition
    • Ensure the compliance to Trade Metrology and SABS regulations related to weighing and measuring equipment
    • Ensure GMP compliance with respect to temperature, humidity, pressure, and weight measurement equipment maintenance
    • Ensure compliance to all EOHS regulations and CP safety standards
    • Budgets: Control of Variable and NVO Capital
    • On time and within Budget Completion of Capital Projects
    • Ensure full time Maintenance Resources to the Production Team
    • Ensure Process Water are controlled within the required specifications
    • Ensure finished products' quality are within specifications based on set up of equipments
    • Reduction of Equipment Downtime as per Company Targets - Continuous Improvement
    • Support as a Key Pillar and Player the Plant Performance according to Company Standards
    • Ensure the implementation In Place of the Colgate Standards related to Maintenance and its interaction with… AM, PM, CI, Master Plan, Program In Place and its tracking and compliance
    • Multi-functional Collaboration and Teamwork with key collaborators (Planning, Packaging, Engineering, Indirect Procurement, Quality and Operations)

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

    • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical engineering 
    • Minimum 5 Years experience in a Maintenance Engineering role preferably in FMCG Environment 
    • Proven knowledge and understanding of mechanical, electrical and utilities generation plants
    • Management: Financial Topics, Budget and People
    • Understanding of EOHS principles and its application
    • Project Management Skills to interact with Engineering Team
    • Computer Skills - Analytical and Decision Support Systems
    • Understanding of Labor / Law principles
