    Global Business Line Service Manager, Hoists

    Your responsibilities

    • Lead implementation of the business line (BL) service growth strategy, ensuring local business lines (LBLs) maintain focus on delivering respective commitments according to P&L targets
    • Guide, motivate, and develop direct and indirect reports.
    • Sustain progress with the development of a hoisting-specific service portfolio together with global product management and technology/R&D.
    • Grow the BL service portfolio through the execution of external partnerships to create value for customers with adjacent technologies.
    • Ensure customer focus, understanding of the sense of urgency, and care in their area of responsibility.
    • Support the LBLs to deliver the full BL service portfolio and generate sales campaigns with productized marketing collateral to take to market.
    • Support the LBLs with the growth of service personnel and footprint to meet the expectations of end-user markets.

    Service Sales Specialist - Energy Industries

    Your responsibilities

    • Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned business units/product groups
    • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering and aligning to provide a solution, ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
    • Preparing sales plans using company tools, performing regular status reviews and proposes recovery plans in cases of potential order shortfalls, creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques
    • Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions), ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers

    Your background

    • National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
    • Minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience in Energy Industries
    • Experience in dealing with Customers (Technical/Sales)
    • Great verbal and written communication skills
    • Understanding of Commercial terms and conditions along with being an Analytical thinker, with communication and interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to communicate effectively at all level

    Your responsibilities

    • Conducting the recruitment processes to all ABB divisions in the country from kickoff meeting to offer acceptance by driving an efficient recruitment process and striving for a high-touch experience for every candidate and manager
    • Collaborating closely with HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers, peer Talent Partners, Employer Branding Partners and HR Services teams to ensure fast, efficient and well-coordinated recruitment process to meet and exceed the business expectations
    • Providing expertise, market insights and consultative guidance to ensure the successful delivery of the sourcing and recruitment approach with the best fit to the business needs

    Your background

    • Minimum five years of experience working with senior positions and Talent Acquisition processes
    • Experience in Talent Acquisition, seeking professional and managerial level positions in engineering
    • Experience in the local market of South Africa. Experience making job offers and working hand in hand with the compensation area
    • Experience working in Multinational companies or prestigious consulting firms with services at a regional or global level (is a must)
    • Knowledge or experience working with some CMR platform as phenom, workday etc.
    • Experience with full life-cycle recruitment with industrial segments
    • Preference will be given to employment equity candidates
