PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
- The Clinical grant funds the position. Due to the limited amount of Biokinetics Preceptors available, there is a struggle to find good-quality preceptors. The preceptor is responsible for work integrated learning experience for our biokinetic students. The aim of this position is to ensure that all students are exposed to the Biokinetics scope of practice.

Minimum requirements
- A Bachelor of Health Sciences degree or an honours degree (NQF level 7/8) in Biokinetics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead space and infrastructure investigations for the NWU 3 Year Infrastructure Plan
- Lead infrastructure request investigations to determine space use requirements, based on Space, Student and Staff HEMIS information. Complete option analysis, concept drawings and recommend cost effective solutions in initiation reports.
- Coordinate the project team for the Business Case phase to deliver signed-off scope of work reports, concept drawings, project budgets and project charters) for larger capital projects.
- Conduct investigations for minor building works / minor unscheduled projects and compile initiation reports.

- Strategic Space & Infrastructure Planning
- Complete and Present Business Cases to the Facilities Working Committee to recommend projects for inclusion in the 3 Year Infrastructure Plan.

- Optimised Space Allocations
- Oversee and execute all Space Allocations on a campus according to space norms and approved space management guidelines to ensure optimal utilisation of space.
