Digital PMO Lead
Our PMO services team has new job opportunities which are part of our fast growing PwC Operate business. This opportunity can be based in Belfast or Cardiff. You will be joining this team at an exciting time of significant growth and will have the opportunity to see the team and its offerings continue to develop.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone to join the PMO services team and lead our Digital PMO team. You will be a strong planner, influencer and have a proven track record in project management and delivery. You will bring high energy, thrive on building relationships and continually seek to improve the service offered to clients. If you are able to demonstrate some of the following we want to hear from you:-
Strong communicator and influencer who is great at connecting the dots at the organisation, strategy, program, and project levels.
Advanced knowledge of programme and project management and worked in a PMO/Project Management and/or Management Consulting role.
Able to engage not just on the how, but also the why, demonstrating your experience designing and strategic planning.
Project team leadership with the ability to mobilise, inspire, and lead your team.
Demonstrate that you have business and commercial acumen and the ability to build an understanding of the business, to build and shape delivery plans.
Partnering with senior stakeholders.
You will be able to demonstrate the use of tools in change management, dependency management, risk management, and when to use them, when not to use them, and when it’s time to create new ones
It would help us if you have experience in a regulatory driven change environment, a banking, technology or manufacturing environment or IT enabled change environment, however this isn’t essential.
About the role
You will lead a team of 4 people in the Digital PMO team, however there are plans for this to increase. As a growing team embedded within PMO service you can expect to carry out the responsibilities below (but not limited too)
Market the availability and benefits of the Digital PMO teams
Embed these into the wider services offering within the PMO team
Oversee configuration and implementation activities for Cora PPM within the Digital PMO team
Complete market assessments across the technology landscape and understand the potential implementation of other tools, and how they will benefit the PMO services proposition
Oversee the development of PMO specific PowerBi dashboards
Engage with and work alongside senior sales representatives for the suite of digital tools
Manage the commercial aspects of the team
Take responsibility for quality checks and management of implementations, and oversee the suite of health checks that are undertaken to support existing implementations.
Meet the pipeline and revenue targets for that team

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Belfast or Cardiff. We do have a wide variety of clients and projects, in other locations within the UK and beyond, and time away from your home office may be required. We can discuss this further as part of the recruitment process.

Requirements:
Master’s degree or MBA
Required SAP certifications
10+ years industry and/or management consulting experience as a Value Engineer
Working experience in a SAP pre-sales or Solution Management function
Proficient with SAP solutions and alignment of business strategy and IT portfolio
Capable of communicating and influencing on a c-suite level
Understands dynamics, KPIs and value chains within multiple industries
Understands value proposition of leveraging technology to enable digital business
Ability to work effectively in virtual teams
Coaching and change management skills/ leadership experience added advantage
Strong collaboration across teams to produce quality deliverables
Strong attention to detail
Focus on quality
Responsibilities:
The team member would act as an advisor to SAP's solutions portfolio for end to end customer engagement and commerce processes and play a key role in driving the following tasks under the direction of the Digital Transformation Office:
Drive and manage focused next generation benchmarking and value based programs across processes to align with key topics relevant in digital economy
Build and refine value content, associated with select SAP solutions, and ensure the latest is available within benchmarking to enable customer engagements
Drive thought leadership based on value content from companies including insights on digital topics, focused lines of business, and industry
Serve as a primary conduit between Solutions Management, Global and Regional teams and/or field sales organizations to oversee, influence and track the execution of key thought leadership initiatives.
Contribute value content to SAP white papers and/or enablement assets. Perform strategy / financial / peer / value chain analysis, etc.
Enable the field organization through webinars, training sessions, and other channels to help in demand generation
Constantly look at innovation and evolve new ways of showcasing value management concepts to customers, and act as trusted advisor for customer business cases
