    Quality & Food Safety Technologist (12-Month Contract)

    What are we looking for?

    • Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent BSc/MSc degree is preferred.
    • 3-5 Years experience in a Food Manufacturing environment working in Quality, Food Safety, Engineering or Product/Process development.
    • Experience implementing Allergen management, FSSC22000, GMP & Sanitation
    • Qualified Internal auditor and / or Qualified lead auditor
    • Computer literate with good working knowledge of software applications
    • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment 60-70% of their time and willing to work shifts at periodic Intervals to support with verification & validation.
    • Since the role require the sensory evaluation of Mars products, the job holders should not suffer from common food allergens.
    • Experience with digitalizing quality system.

    What will be your key responsibilities?

    • Support GMP verification, reporting, gap assessment and establishing implementation plans to drive continuous Improvement.
    • Support Sanitation & Housekeeping verification, reporting, gap assessment and establishing implementation plans to drive continuous Improvement.
    • Conduct validations for effective sanitation & allergen removal.
    • Nurture the site GMP & Quality culture and deliver quality related training to strengthen the food safety and quality competence on site.
    • Perform Q&FS internal and GMP audits against defined Internal standards.  Monitoring performance and determine the need for corrective actions.  Work with cross functional tames to establish appropriate corrective action.
    • Developing, updating and control of quality management documents.
    • Data analysis and reporting of Q&FS metrics.
    • Support the execution of quality projects in close collaboration with other teams.
    • Digitalization of quality records.

    Quality & Food Safety Graduate (12-Month Contract)

    What are we looking for?

    • B-Tech Food Technology / B-Tech Quality / BSC Food Science or related.
    • Exposure to raw material testing or Laboratory work
    • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and allergens
    • Good written and verbal skills
    • Ability to work shifts when required.
    • Since the role involves sensory evaluation of products and materials containing allergens, the candidate should not suffer from any food intolerances or allergies.

    What will be your key responsibilities?

    • Testing and conformance of materials (raw materials, packaging materials, products and raw materials at end-of shelf life)
    • Capturing results, analysis of data and hold/release of materials on SAP
    • Environmental monitoring (water, hands, equipment, cleaning, air quality, effluent water)
    • Verification of equipment
    • Support cleaning and allergen validations.
    • Developing and reviewing procedures.
