    Production Manager (Flatbread) – Amaro Foods / Cape Town

    Purpose

    To manage the entire production process, ensuring that specifications are followed and GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practice) are adhered to at all times. To meet all customer product requirements (order quantity and quality).

    Key Performance Outputs

    • Ensure proper and accurate production planning
    • Liaise with technical and maintenance departments to ensure optimal performance of the production function
    • Ensure optimum use of production resources
    • Maintain proper functioning of manufacturing equipment
    • Lead and manage the various teams to produce results in line with customer expectations
    • Lead and manage the productions teams ensuring optimal performance
    • Supervise, mentor and motivate the respective teams
    • Manage employee conduct according the company’s Code of Behaviour and take appropriate action where deviations occur
    • Conduct and lead regular team meetings (“Let’s Talk”), at level 3
    • Maintain all documentation required for due diligence.

    Technical Skills and Experience

    • Relevant Degree or Diploma in Production Management
    • Post graduate qualification advantageous
    • 6-8 years’ experience in FMCG industry
    • 5 years production management experience
    • Understanding of Food manufacturing and production
    • Knowledge of technical process and principles advantageous
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Methodologies advantageous

    New Product Developer FTC – Amaro Foods / Cape Town

    Purpose

    To interpret customer needs and lifestyle trends for the development of a product development plan that delivers consistent high quality, value for money and exceeds customer expectations; whilst contributing to the respective category’s profitability and the company’s strategic goals and objectives.

    Key Performance Outputs

    • Interpret and utilize customer and food trends to develop proposals aligned to trends and business objectives
    • Conduct market research for benchmarking, including range reviews locally and internationally
    • Develop products aligned to customer requirements and briefs, business objectives and legislative requirements
    • Responsible for creating and validating recipes/recipe processes/packaging through kitchen and factory trials
    • Manage and implement the product development process within the category to ensure product ranges are delivered in line with product direction and brand values

    Purpose

    Responsible for providing support in terms of bulk recruitment, administration and execution of Human Capital Projects. To support Amaro Foods company culture by ensuring that the employee experience / culture is key.

    Key Performance Outputs

    Senior Financial Manager – Amaro Foods / Cape Town

    Purpose

    • Responsible for supporting financial leadership in driving and managing the Company’s finances in line with overall Group Company strategic objectives.

    Key Performance Outputs

    • Identify and report financial irregularities and potential problems are reported to the Finance Executive.
    • Maintain an up-to-date general ledger.
    • Prepare and sign off periodic financial statements including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and obtain input and commentary on performance, progress and reasons for variances.
    • Prepare and distribute all reports required from Libstar on time.

    Purpose

    Providing administrative and clerical support in the recording and tracking of the purchases, payments and all supplier related entries accurately and timeously to ensure our supplier invoices and accounts are reconciled and paid according to their terms

    Key Performance Outputs

    • Follow up on outstanding purchase orders, goods received notes and supplier invoices
    • Complete daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations and report on any identified variances
