    Maintenance Supervisor (Gardens & Grounds) – Dikhololo

    • Dikhololo Resort is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep and presentation of our gardens and grounds. This role is ideal for a hands-on individual with a passion for landscaping, team leadership, and maintaining high standards in a resort environment.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the gardens and grounds team
    • Ensure all landscaped areas, lawns, pathways, and outdoor facilities are well maintained
    • Plan and implement seasonal planting, irrigation, and maintenance schedules
    • Monitor and maintain gardening equipment and tools
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
    • Assist with general maintenance tasks as required

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience

    • Proven experience in garden and grounds maintenance, preferably in a resort or hospitality environment
    • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
    • Knowledge of irrigation systems, landscaping techniques, and plant care
    • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

    Key Competencies and Personal Attributes:

    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Good communication skills
    • Valid matric / Grade 12 certificate and code B driver’s licence

    Handyman – The Aloes (Fixed Term Contract)

    • The position is supporting the Manager in all aspects of the technical / mechanical / grounds side of the resort functions.  The successful candidate must be prepared to work 6 day week, shifts, public holidays week-ends and overtime. Will be required to manage staff and liaise with Service providers to achieve desired standard.

    Key Competencies & Personal Attributes:

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar maintenance position
    • Sound knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, building, carpentry, aircon and pool maintenance

    Employee Relations Officer

    • We are seeking a highly competent and detail-orientated Employee Relations Officer to join our HR team within a dynamic hospitality environment. This role is critical in supporting operational management with effective employee relations practices, ensuring legal compliance, and mitigating organisational risk.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide end-to-end support on employee relations matters, including misconduct, incapacity, grievances, and conflict resolution
    • Manage and represent the organisation in external dispute resolution processes, including CCMA proceedings 
    • Engage with trade unions on a regular basis, including participation in wage negotiations, consultations, and dispute management
    • Draft and review disciplinary documentation, policies, and outcome reports with a high level of accuracy
    • Ensure compliance with applicable labour legislation, internal policies, and collective agreements
    • Facilitate disciplinary hearings and investigations, ensuring procedural and substantive fairness
    • Support line management with guidance on employee relations best practices and risk mitigation
    • Monitor and respond to compliance-related matters, including compliance orders and labour inspections
    • Maintain accurate records and reporting on all employee relations matters

    Key Competencies & Personal Attributes

    • Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Labour Relations, or related field
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Employee Relations role
    • Proven experience dealing with trade unions, including wage negotiations and dispute resolution
    • Demonstrated experience handling CCMA cases from Conciliation through to arbitration
    • Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA)
    • High level of attention to detail and strong administrative capability
    • Ability to manage multiple matters concurrently with sound judgement
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
    • Professional, objective, and confidential with sensitive matters
    • High level of integrity and accountability

    Graphic Designer Junior

    • This will ideally suit a candidate who has just completed a relevant tertiary qualification. The successful candidate will create online content, designs and copy layouts for visual presentations and publications, including rolling out of new projects. They will also be responsible to coordinate and action online items needed for Quarterly Marketing campaigns; and for work on multimedia devices as required within various projects.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric
    • Graphic Design degree / diploma
