The role requires someone who is able to travel and work with our local and international factories to build and procure ranges for the Men’s K-WAY apparel department.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage critical path for internal reviews and manufacturing (local and international).
    • Manage OTB by trading successful styles, discontinuing and negotiating non-performing styles.

    Job Description
    Accountant: Group Services

    • We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Group Finance team. This role is integral to managing group services accounts, with a strong focus on e-commerce transactions, intercompany reconciliations, and foreign creditors/receivables. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have sound knowledge of accounting principles, and understand operational IT systems. The role also includes managing a small team.

    Key Responsibilities

    E-Commerce

    • Oversee all online sales platforms, ensuring accurate reconciliation and integration with accounting systems.
    • Monitor and reconcile daily e-commerce revenue.
    • Test and implement new developments in the e-commerce environment.
    • Maintain relationships with third-party payment providers.
    • Resolve all queries relating to online transactions.

    Foreign Creditors & Imports

    • Manage foreign currency transactions, including calculation and accounting of exchange rate impacts.
    • Reconcile foreign bank accounts.
    • Oversee costing processes and systems for imported stock.

    Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

    • Prepare and process journals, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and support month-end/year-end closes.

    Intercompany & Group Services

    • Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts and transactions.
    • Capture and receipt stock payments.

    Cash Books & Accounts Receivable

    Staff Management

    Requirements

    Education & Experience

    • Degree or diploma in Accounting.
    • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within an accounting department.

    Skills

    • Solid understanding of accounting principles and VAT.
