Qualification(s)

• High school. Passed Matric with Maths and English (Pure Maths).

Experience and Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in Air conditioning, Domestic and Industrial Electrical Experience, Plumbing Experience, Handyman Experience with proven records.
• Working knowledge MS Excel, MS Word experience.
• Proven record of Team leading experience.
• Working at height experience (must not be scared of heights)
• Welding experience
• Permit Issuing Experience

About the job

• The Materials Resource Planner for Danone South Africa is responsible for generating material planning requirements taking into account various production dynamics and constraints both at Danone and its suppliers.
• Working closely with supply planning department, suppliers, C&P and site operations ensuring robust planning including (resource capacity constraints, inventory (raw & pack), Supplier SLA adherence on stock holding while ensuring effective communication with all stakeholder and minimising risk to the business
• This role must be capable of performing root cause and trend analysis for critical case volume and inventory valuation data in addition to maximize R&P availability whilst maintaining optimal levels of raw materials, packaging materials and cash whilst incurring minimal levels of waste.

Qualification(s)

• Diploma or Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field

Experience and Skills

• 3-5 years’ experience in an FMCG production environment in a replenishment role
• Working knowledge of stock control principles and practices
• Proficient in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint
• A thorough understanding of all supply chain principles and processes
• Previous dairy experience is an advantage
• Previous experience in working with SAP is an advantage
