    Internal Sales Representative - Nelspruit

    JOB PURPOSE

    • The core purpose of the role is to sell products to customers, process their orders efficiently, accurately, and promptly, ensuring that sales and gross profit targets are met. The role requires maintaining strong and positive customer relationships.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Sales.
    • Customer Service.

    • SHEQ Integrated Management System control.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    SALES

    • Ensure sales and GP targets are met.
    • Sell stock to customers.
    • Source stock internally to complete customer orders.
    • Maintain a clean back-order report.
    • Arrange timeous delivery of products with internal or external transport providers.
    • Source sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, tele sales, outbound cold calls, and emails.
    • Manage and maintain pricing in line with the company pricing requirements.
    • Analyse customers’ sales history on system and identify sales opportunities.
    • Grow existing customer- and new customer base.

    CUSTOMER SERVICE

    • Always maintain a high level of customer service standards with internal and external customers.
    • Resolve customer queries timeously.
    • Provide daily feedback to customers on back orders and out-of-stocks.
    • Communication of customer credits to operations to ensure timeous collection.

    ADMINISTRATION AND REPORTING

    • Prepare quotes, sales orders, and invoices timeously and accurately.
    • Ensure data systems are accurate and always updated.
    • Ensure customer information is accurate on system.
    • Review credit limits and request payments as required, ensuring continuous communication to Debtors department.

    SHEQ INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CONTROL

    • Ensure adherence to the OHS Act.
    • Participate in any Integrated Management System activities as required.
    • Identify and report opportunities for improvement, Non-Conformances, and Incidents in area of responsibility.
    • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
    • Always maintain a high level of customer service levels standards.
    • Ensure the Sales Department maintains and complies with standards of health and safety, and hygiene always.

    REQUIREMENTS

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12 with at least 1 or 2 additional short course certifications.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Relevant experience in a similar position.
    • Relevant experience in a sales environment.

    KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

    • Computer literacy with Proficiency in MS Excel at a basic level.
    • Proficient in SAGE / Pastel Evolution, or similar, at an intermediate level.
    • A thorough practical knowledge of best practices in sales processes.
    • Awareness and understanding of the ISO Standard requirements relevant to the position.

    Specifier - Benoni

    JOB PURPOSE

    • The primary objective of this role is to advocate for and facilitate the incorporation of our exclusive aluminium systems in construction projects. This entails specifying, effectively communicating the advantages, and seamlessly integrating our systems into the architect’s designs.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

    ALUMINIUM SYSTEM SPECIFICATION

    • Comprehensive understanding of the full product range.
    • Provide technical expertise on the features, benefits, and applications of our aluminium systems.
    • Identify and target key projects and/or architects to specify our aluminium systems.
    • Collaborate proactively with architects to understand project requirements and objectives, advocating for the use of our aluminium systems.
    • Integrate our aluminium systems into project specifications, aligning with design intent and regulatory standards
    • Introduce newly developed systems to key clients, architects, and engineers.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with architects, acting as a primary point of contact for any inquiries related to our aluminium systems.
    • Attend any relevant industry meetings.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of technical specifications, product features, and customer interactions.
    • Comprehensive management of specifying portfolios supplied by 3rd party appointment/lead agencies.

    TECHNICAL SUPPORT

    • Offer ongoing support to architects during the design phase, ensuring they have the necessary information to incorporate our aluminium systems seamlessly.
    • Collaborate with the technical team to address and resolve any technical challenges or concerns raised by architects.
    • Comprehensive understanding of Logikal, AutoCAD, BIM Models and Revit to assist architects with any queries related to the specification.  
    • Complete monthly status report on the quotes completed by technical department per branch. 

    SALES MANAGEMENT

    • Identify and pursue sales opportunities, collaborating with the sales team to drive revenue growth

    New customer management

    • Source and onboard new customers.
    • Actively seek out and identify potential stakeholders through various channels, such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events.

    Implement solutions that deliver value and business outcomes for key stakeholders.

    • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and value of the products or services being sold.

    Establish and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders (Architects, QS, key clients) to understand their requirements, build trust, and become their trusted advisor.

    • Regularly engage with customers to provide support, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

    Complete specifying forecasts and analyze conversion rates monthly.

    • Prepare specifying performance reports and sales analysis.
    • Generate stakeholder visit reports and weekly call reports.

    Conduct product presentations and workshops to showcase the advantages of our aluminium systems and address any technical queries.

    • Conduct presentations at AAAMSA meetings, as required.
    • Conduct Architect presentations with architects, as required.
    • Stay in touch with industry trends, competitor products, and market demands related to aluminium system and provide insights and recommendations to the technical team.

    SHEQ INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CONTROL

    • Ensure adherence to the OHS Act.

    REQUIREMENTS
