    Underwriter

    Job Advert Summary    

    • Hello… an exciting new opportunity has just become available in Hollard Insure, COE division. We are looking to recruit an Underwriter/Sales Consultant at Hollard Equipage, based in Gauteng.

    Role Objectives:

    • Sales and advice on Equine and Pet insurance policies.
    • Enhance the image of the company through the continuous delivery of efficient and effective customer service.
    • Marketing Hollard Equipage in the Gauteng and on Social Media.
    • Processing and inputting policies within the set standards required by the company thus contributing to the productivity of the division

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Customer service: Maintain a high level of service to customers and brokers.
    • Effective and timeous communication: Communicate in a professional manner with internal and external parties and respond to queries within 24 hours.
    • To execute the sales process with diligence and integrity.
    • To communicate with potential customers in a skillful and knowledgeable manner.
    • To optimise each lead allocated to the consultant.
    • To use appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of our products from potential customers.
    • To accurately identify needs by asking effective questions and listening attentively.
    • Match benefits accordingly and demonstrate how products satisfies the customers’ needs.
    • To understand objections and overcome them with an appropriate response.

    Required Knowledge and Experience    

    • Attention to detail is essential
    • Good telephone manner & listening skills.
    • Flexibility – show positive response to change. Must be a fast learner and able to work under pressure.
    • Customer focused – needs to understand and respond effectively to customer needs and offer polite and efficient service at all times.

    Educational Requirements    

    • Matric (Grade 12) – numeracy and literacy (English & Afrikaans)
    • Full FAIS accreditation in Short Term Insurance an advantage.
    • RE Qualification an advantage.
    • Computer literate
    • Equine and Pet knowledge as well as basic veterinary knowledge

    Digital Learning Specialist

    Job Purpose:

    • Design, develop, and maintain engaging digital learning content aligned with Hollard’s Group Learning Strategy. Ensure optimal performance and continuous improvement of the Digital Learning Ecosystem (LMS, LXP, XR). Use instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), AI tools, and data insights to create scalable, inclusive learning solutions. Support compliance, accreditation, and digital fluency initiatives. Provide system support, resolve issues, document functionality needs, and train employees.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Platform Management

    • Administer and maintain platform reliability, user adoption, and data integrity. Enforce standards and troubleshoot content and integrations. Manage communications, support, and escalations. Generate reports and dashboards to track engagement and impact. Train users and support testing and vendor integrations. Recommend upgrades and stay current with tech trends.

    Learning Design & Development

    • Apply instructional design models and adult learning principles. Develop eLearning modules, microlearning, assessments, and simulations. Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders for rapid prototyping. Ensure compliance with SETA, CPD, and regulatory standards. Embed accessibility and inclusivity (e.g., WCAG).

    Content Planning & Development

    • Structure knowledge into modules with SME input. Align activities with business priorities and learning objectives. Ensure outcomes meet Unit Standards and are assessable. Create content that promotes mastery and supports diverse learners. Maintain quality and clarity in language and format.

    Facilitation Guidelines & Evaluation

    • Provide clear facilitation instructions and assessment plans. Identify resources and implementation requirements. Structure learning sequence and timeframes. Document improvement opportunities for future revisions.

    Media & Technology Use

    • Select appropriate media and collaborate with vendors. Stay updated on training trends and assist in multimedia content creation.

    Required Knowledge and Experience    

    • Minimuim 5 years related experience
    • Instructional Design: Strong expertise in design models, adult learning, and systems thinking
    • Digital Learning: Experience with AI tools, adaptive platforms, and content development
    • Compliance & Security: Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and data privacy protocols
    • Analytics: Advanced Excel and reporting skills; interpret learning analytic
    • Business Acumen: Understand talent strategies and manage multiple projects

    Educational Requirements    

    • Bachelor’s Degree -recommended
    • Diploma in Education/ Training & Development (preferred)

    Senior Manager: Experiential Marketing

    Job Purpose:

    • Hollard is seeking an experienced Experiential Marketing Manager who will be responsible for executing and managing experiential marketing plans and campaigns. This role plays a pivotal part in creating unique and memorable brand experiences, focusing on broker, channel partner, and staff engagement, among other stakeholders. Responsibilities include overseeing the execution of events, experiential marketing campaigns, and other brand activations at a national and regional level. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategy Implementation: Implement experiential marketing plans aligned with the overall marketing and business objectives in a manner that applies sensory marketing and neuroscience principles. Ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with brand corporate identity across all experiential marketing activities and touchpoints.  
    • Event Management: Lead the planning, organisation, and execution of experiential events, hospitality events, activations, trade shows, sponsorships, and other engagements to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. This includes coordinating logistics, event production, vendor management, guest management, and ensuring smooth on-site operations.  
    • Audience Engagement: Develop strategies to maximise audience engagement and participation at events through interactive experiences, compelling activations, and targeted outreach efforts.  
    • Innovation & Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and innovative experiential marketing techniques to enhance Hollards’ differentiators. Foster creativity and innovation in executing experiential marketing campaigns and events that resonate with stakeholders.  
    • Cross-functional Support & Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless execution of experiential marketing initiatives with other business and marketing efforts.  
    • Campaign Performance Measurement & Reporting: Deliver against set KPIs, evaluate the ROI of experiential marketing initiatives, prepare post event reports and share key insights with stakeholders. 

    Required Knowledge and Experience    

    • Significant experience in event management for large corporates or agencies.
    • At least 8 – 10 years’ related experience including leading vendors and teams in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas 
    • Knowledge of project management and event management. 
    • Ability to collaborate across teams, effective communication and presentation skills

    Educational Requirements    

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Project Management, Hospitality, or related field
