    Intermediate Automation Engineer

    • Responsible for independently designing, building, and deploying automation solutions that create real business value. Partners with stakeholders to understand challenges, identify automation opportunities, and deliver scalable, reliable solutions. Ensures efficiency, compliance, and quality while supporting continuous improvement and guiding junior team members.

    Job Description

    • Build an end-to-end AP system that ingests PDFs, extracts data using OCR/LLMs, validates against the ERP via API and triggers payment approvals with zero human touch.
    • Engage with process owners to identify automation opportunities that deliver measurable business value.
    • Translate business needs into automation design requirements and functional workflows.
    • Ensure deployed automations align with compliance, security, and quality standards.
    • Conduct ROI analysis to validate automation benefits.
    • Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including performance dashboards and KPI tracking.
    • Act as liaison between IT and business teams to ensure smooth deployment and adoption.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
    • 3–5 years of experience in RPA development or automation engineering.
    • Strong technical understanding of APIs, CI/CD, and agile delivery. Eagerness to learn RPA tools and automation practices.
    • Proven expertise in API integration (REST/SOAP) and strong practical experience with n8n or other low-code/automation frameworks.
    • Ability to write custom scripts in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or other relevant coding languages/frameworks for complex data transformation and workflow logic.
    • Strong technical understanding of CI/CD principles and agile delivery.
    • Experience conducting ROI analysis, creating performance dashboards, and maintaining detailed project documentation.
    • Eagerness to learn new automation tools and share best practices.

    Junior Legal Counsel

    • To provide contract-focused legal support across all Ignition Group entities, ensuring legal integrity, operational compliance, and commercial enablement. The role sits within the central Legal function and supports the execution of Group strategy through effective contract management, legal risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.

    Job Description

    Contract Management and Commercial Support

    • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts across Group entities (including client, supplier, partnership, licensing, and NDAs).
    • Ensure contract terms align with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and Group risk frameworks.
    • Support the implementation of Group contract templates, clause libraries, and playbooks.
    • Maintain the contract register and track renewal, expiry, and variation timelines.
    • Assist with internal sign-off processes and coordinate execution via DocuSign or approved platforms.

    Legal and Regulatory Compliance

    • Interpret and apply South African commercial, privacy, and consumer law (e.g., CPA, POPIA, ECTA, BCEA).

    Stakeholder and Business Partnership

    Operational Excellence and Reporting

    • Undertake research and benchmarking to support continuous improvement of the Legal function.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) – mandatory.
    • Admission as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa – mandatory.
    • 3–5 years post-admission experience.
    • Prior in-house corporate experience advantageous.
    • Strong background in commercial contracting, with exposure to technology, telecoms, financial services, or customer engagement sectors preferred.

    Community Success Agent

    • As a Gumtree Community Success Agent, you will work closely with our users to ensure they have the best experience possible. Assisting users on live chat and email with a wide range of requests and queries.     HR Business Partner

    Job Description

    • The HR Business Partner acts as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, providing HR guidance and solutions to drive business objectives. Owns HR operations delivery, ensuring people practices support employee engagement, performance and retention. This position is accountable for the development of HR policies and procedures. 

    Key roles and responsibilities

    HR Strategic Alignment

    • Participate in the provision of HR policy and procedure guidance and coaching.
    • Execute HR projects across the company within specific timeframes.
    • Act as a consultative business partner to the assigned stakeholder group by advising them of trends in HR practices, the labour market and general developments that could impact on the human resources in the business unit of responsibility.

    • Monitor potential ER risks and address them proactively to reduce the number of CCMA referrals.
    • Provide advice to managers on corrective action steps to strengthen cases before escalation.

    Compliance & Governance:

    • Coordinate and prepare for DTI (Department of Trade and Industry) audits, ensuring all required documentation (e.g., contracts, registers etc) are collated and shared.
    • Act as the point of contact during audits, providing inspectors with access to requested files, employees and information.
    • Support ongoing compliance by maintaining proper record-keeping.

    Job Requirements

    Knowledge, skills, and attributes:

    • Excellent ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
    • Excellent knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organisational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and relevant employment laws
    • Assertive in approach coupled with confidence in area of expertise and the ability to facilitate business conversations
    • Maintains a clear and detailed knowledge of the industry trends, best practices, and labour legislation
    • Excellent ability to develop HR policies and procedures that meet company needs

    Education and training:

    • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or similar qualification

    Experience:

    • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

    • Experience working in agile or cross-functional product teams.
    • Portfolio demonstrating UX design and problem-solving approach.
    • Bachelor’s degree in human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology or related field - or equivalent practical experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design expertise.
    • 5–8+ years of proven experience in UX design, product design, or interaction design, with a strong track record of delivering successful digital products end-to-end.
