    Pastry Chef

    Job Description

    • A well-established wine estate in the Northern Suburbs is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to take responsibility for the pastry section of the kitchen.
    • This role requires a candidate who can maintain high quality standards, work independently, and operate effectively within a structured kitchen environment.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Preparation and cooking for the pastry section
    • Maintain quality and presentation standards as set by Executive Chef
    • Assist with ordering and stock control for pastry section
    • Ensure kitchen hygiene, food safety and quality compliance
    • Coordinate pastry preparation and service
    • Support wider kitchen operations where required
    • Lead by example in work ethic, discipline and professionalism

    NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Pastry Chef
    • Own reliable transport (estate not on public transport route)
    • Able to work shifts
    • Fluent in English
    • South African citizen
    • Available immediately or within 2 weeks
    • Willing to complete a trial shift to demonstrate skillset

    • This role is focused on selling medical scheme, health insurance and gap cover products to qualified leads through a structured telephonic sales process.
    • This is a target-driven environment suited to individuals with a proven track record in outbound call centre sales.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • MUST have outbound call centre sales experience
    • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
    • Strong telephonic communication and objection handling skills
    • Comfortable working in a high-performance, target-driven environment
    • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
    • Own transport

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Engage with qualified leads telephonically and electronically
    • Conduct needs analysis and provide appropriate product recommendations
    • Prepare and present comparative quotes
    • Convert leads into successful sales
    • Capture sales accurately on internal systems
    • Follow up with product providers to ensure activation of policies
    • Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the process
    • Ensure full compliance with FAIS and internal regulatory standards

    Qualifications (Advantageous):

    • RE5 Certificate
    • CMS accreditation
    • DOFA record from FSCA
    • Inseta or related financial services qualifications

    Experience (Advantageous):

    • Medical aid / health insurance sales experience
    • Financial services or insurance sales background
    • Knowledge of FAIS and FICA regulations

    Job Description

    • A well-established physiotherapy and Pilates practice in Vredehoek is seeking a reliable and experienced Office Manager/PA to take full responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the practice.
    • This is a standalone role suited to a highly organized, mature administrator who can manage multiple functions independently while supporting the practice owner.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Daily Duties:

    • General office administration
    • Managing appointment bookings for physiotherapy sessions and Pilates classes
    • Handling incoming calls, emails, and client queries
    • Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
    • Liaising with clients and suppliers
    • Invoicing and issuing client statements

    Monthly Duties:

    • Managing supplier payments
    • Calculating staff salaries
    • Preparing financial information for the bookkeeper
    • Compiling and distributing a quarterly newsletter via Mailchimp

    Requirements:

    Essential:

    • Previous experience in an administrative / office management role
    • Strong computer literacy (email, invoicing, basic financial admin)
