    Balance Sheet Analyst

    The successful candidate will be working on various bespoke projects, whilst also providing insights and enhancing reporting on the capital and funding position of the segment.

    Key Responsibilities for a Balance Sheet Analyst:

    • Analysing income statements and balance sheets
    • Conducting stress testing and portfolio analysis
    • Lifting insights from reports for senior stakeholders (Exco)
    • Reporting on the balance sheet
    • Providing commentary on the financial resources consumed
    • Identifying optimisation opportunities
    • Driving capital optimisation initiatives
    • Collaborating with various stakeholders across the bank
    • Preparing the financial resources report
    • Looking at business risk, portfolio modelling (Excel) and volatility

    Key Qualifications and Experience for a Balance Sheet Analyst:

    • 2-3 years' experience in a Corporate Investment Bank or Banking environment
    • Postgraduate qualification (Honors) in Economics (preferable) / Accounting / Mathematics / Finance
    • CFA / studying towards CFA (advantageous)
    • Experience in dealing with Bank capital and methodologies (advantageous)
    • Financial instruments experience
    • Proven track record of financial modelling
    • Strong Excel skills

    Tax Manager

    The Tax Manager will be joining an established and global team and assist in producing global tax reports, tax reporting and tax compliance. This role would suit an individual with 5 to 7 years tax management experience.

    Tax Manager responsibilities:

    • Producing global tax reports
    • Provide governance on indirect tax compliance
    • Manage global inter company services
    • Assist with tax audits

    Tax Manager requirements:

    • Relevant tax, accounting degree, Masters in tax advantageous
    • Minimum 5 years people management experience
    • Proven influencer able to communicate at all levels
    • Demonstrated ability in building stakeholder relationships
