    Regional SHEQ Manager – Inland

    Minimum Requirements    

    • National Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
    • Degree in a Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality related field.
    • Post Graduate qualification in a business field will be an advantage
    • ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 implementation internal / lead auditor certifications.
    • ISO 22000 implementation experience
    • HACCP certification / training
    • 5-10 years' relevant experience in SHEQ, of which the 5 years should be in a managerial position.
    • Experience in implementation and maintenance of SHEQ management system
    • Experience in SHEQ and risk strategy implementation
    • Exposure to and understanding of implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Environmental Acts, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, HACCP and ISO 45001.
    • Risk Management, Auditing and compliance.
    • Fair and consistent interpretation and application of SHEQ regulations, procedures, statutory requirements & ISO SHEQ standards.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Support Group SHERQ in drafting and effecting SHERQ strategy and plans in the Inland Region.
    • Ensure SHERQ management system is implemented and maintained in accordance with the requirements of the standards.
    • Review and develop all aspects of SHERQ activities, ensuring implementation consistently across the Divisions and Departments in the Region
    • Drive business risk reduction programs.
    • Fulfil advisory role in SHERQ and Risk matters.
    • Manage SHERQ incidents (reporting to close out).
    • Develop and manage provision of all SHEQ training through the SHEQ team.
    • Development and mentor the SHERQ team.
    • Provide oversight over the IMS processes to ensure they are delivering their intended outputs.
    • Ensure that data with regards to SHERQ performance is effectively captured and analysed to enable improvement plans to be developed.

    Pest Control Operator

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric - Grade 12
    • Pest Control Qualification
    • 2-5 year's experience as a Pest Control Operator/Officer
    • Must be Registered
    • Valid Driver’s licence
    • Must have experience on HACCP audits and good knowledge of HACCP standards 
    • Good track record as a Pest Control Operator/Officer with high service quality

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Internal and on-site training for Pest Control staff.
    • Able to attend to customer queries and resolve customer site complaints.
    • Pre-audit site checks for HACCP clients.
    • Assist with the managing of the Pest Control Team.
    • Measure the dimensions of the area needing treatment.
    • Use baits and set traps to control or kill pests.
    • Spray or dust chemical solutions, powders, gels etc. into areas.

    • Report Writing – Monthly reports and incident reports
    • Creating site rosters;
    • After hours site visits compulsory;
    • Staffing – ensure site is covered as per contractual obligations
