    Shift Miller

    • The Shift Miller is a critical operational role in a grain or flour manufacturing facility, responsible for overseeing the entire milling process during their assigned shift to ensure the production of quality products that meet specific standards and customer specifications. This position involves a blend of technical expertise, quality control, maintenance, and, often, personnel supervision.

    Service Management Lead

    • The IT Service Management Manager is accountable for leading and maturing Tiger Brands’ IT service management capability across the enterprise. The role is responsible for the governance, performance, and continual improvement of core ITSM practices, ensuring that service delivery is controlled, measurable, customer-focused, and aligned to business needs. 
    • The role provides leadership across service performance management, ITSM governance, service reporting, service quality, and continuous improvement, while directly leading the internal and external resources responsible for Change, Configuration, Knowledge, CSI, Event Management, Incident, Problem, Reporting, and customer service coordination

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Lead the IT Service Management function and ensure the effective implementation, governance, and continual optimisation of ITSM practices across the enterprise IT environment.
    • Define, own, and maintain the IT service management framework, including service management standards, policies, procedures, controls, and governance forums required to deliver consistent and measurable IT services. [peoplecert.org]
    • Chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and hold accountability for change governance, including change risk assessment, scheduling, prioritisation, approval, compliance, and post-implementation review.
    • Accountable for the management of service levels, including the negotiation, development, and governance of SLAs and OLAs, service credits, KPI measurement, and overall service quality oversight.
    • Chair internal service review meetings and drive service performance discussions with internal stakeholders and delivery
    • Provide governance and oversight of incident management, including escalation management, major incident notification, trend analysis, and continual improvement
    • Lead problem management to ensure recurring incidents are analysed, root causes are identified, and corrective and preventive actions are proactively driven through to closure.
    • Oversee configuration management practices to ensure accurate, reliable, and auditable configuration data across services, infrastructure, and service dependencies.

    • Drive service quality and customer experience improvement through monitoring of response times, user satisfaction, process compliance, service trends, and targeted improvement actions.
    • Lead the customer service coordination capability to ensure effective communication, service responsiveness, and a consistently high standard of end-user engagement.
    • Identify, prioritise, and drive service improvement opportunities in partnership with management, business stakeholders, and service tower leads.
    • Build and maintain strong business relationships and provide guidance to teams on improving work procedures, process adherence, and service delivery practices.     Key attributes and competencies

    • Strong leadership capability across IT service management governance, service performance, operational quality, and continual improvement. 
    • Deep knowledge of ITIL-based service management practices, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Level, Configuration, Knowledge, Event Management, and CSI.

    • Sound understanding of ITSM tools

    Experience

    Artisan Assistant

    • To assist artisans performing repairs and maintenance duties on machines relevant in the plant.

    Competencies and Requirements

    • Grade 12 must have Electrical or mechanical background will be an advantage.

    • To create high-quality, engaging, and interactive video content that supports Manufacturing Excellence initiatives across all bakery plants. This role ensures that training, communication, and change-management messages are delivered in a dynamic, easy-to-understand, and visually appealing way. The individual will film, edit, and produce digital content that enhances learning, drives behavioral change, and simplifies complex operational concepts.

    Key Responsibilities

    Content Creation & Storyboarding

    • Develop creative training videos for plant updates, safety & quality messages, and relevant manufacturing information
    • Translate technical manufacturing processes into simple, visual, and engaging content.

    Filming & Production

    • Record high-quality video and audio clips on-site at the bakery plants.
    • Capture interviews, demonstrations, processes, and behind-the-scenes footage as required.

    Editing & Post-Production

    • Edit video content using modern editing
    • Add motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, audio, subtitles, and music.
    • Create interactive video elements where applicable (quizzes, clickable prompts, animations).

    Technical & Software Skills

    • Ensure familiarity and proficiency with:
    • Video editing tools
    • Animation or motion graphics tools
    • Audio editing and mixing tools.
    • Mobile-first video creation for internal platforms and screens across the bakery.

    Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and send customer statements
    • Record and allocate customer payments to the correct accounts.

    People Business Partner: Germiston

    Execution of People Strategy

    • Partner with business leaders to implement strategic people initiatives aligned to business objectives.

    • Partner with leaders to identify culture improvement opportunities and implement action plans.
    • Partner with Learning & Development to identify capability gaps and support execution of site learning plans

    Administrative Local Support

    • Deliver end-to-end HR operational support across multiple sites.

    • Manage the administration of People operational activities in multiple People disciplines (recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding, L&D and Employee Lifecycle.)
