    Backup Power Solutions Engineer - (ENG-L6.67)

    Position Overview:

    • We are seeking a talented Electrical / Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineer to join our industrial electrical engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of backup power solutions (diesel generators, gas/biogas engines, thermal plant, rotary UPS, changeover systems), ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop backup power solutions according to project specifications and customer requirements.

    Senior Public Health & Fire BIM Modeller - (DM-L5.22)

    Role Responsibility   

    • Lead a team of modelers within a discipline. 
    • Execute the 3D digital build with the required authoring software to accurately capture the design and all design related data. 
    • Pay careful consideration to the context, relevant interfaces, and buildability of the model elements during the digital build. 
    • Ensure that all required metadata not automatically generated is manually added to the digital build elements, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and a real commitment to data accuracy. 
    • Achieve completion of various aspects of the digital build as set out in the TIDP/Drawing register to maintain the agreed cadence of model federation and information sharing.

    Minimum Requirements

    Junior Electrical BIM Modeller - (DM-L3.8)

    Role Responsibilities  

    • Coordinating the modelling of building services designs forming part of projects such as education and sports facilities, hospitals, commercial buildings, transport facilities as well as hotels and apartments, industrial facilities etc. 
    • Effectively setting up Revit models in BIM360 that will then be used by clients, architects, engineers, and engineering parties

    Engineer's Representative (Resident Engineer) - (ENG-L6.77)

    Role Responsibilities

    • Supervise all construction and installation activities on site and monitoring contractors’ progress.
    • Technical input to the progress reports on all works being carried out at the site and offer regular update on progress and measurements for work complete.
    • Review and monitor equipment, site staff and work methods, identify deficiency of performance before the occurrence of delays and quality issues.

    • ECSA PrEng/PrTech/PrTechEng OR SACQSP PrQS registration.
    • PrCMP Registration with SACPCMP would be advantageous.
    • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in construction and/or projects site supervision within client bodies (large municipal clients or water utilities).

    Senior Building Services Electrical and Electronics Engineer - (ENG-L6.81)

    Role Responsibilities  

    • Manage full design aspects for Electrical and Electronic Services mainly across our Data Centre portfolio.  
    • Analysing project requirements in the context of various codes and standard and develop conceptual designs through to a set of construction information.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Project Management (design and consultancy projects).
    • Leading and coordinating road pavement engineering designs (mechanistic-empirical). Proven experience in pavement design, analysis and decision making.

    • Support, and manage dynamic system modelling information and studies

    HVAC BIM Modeller - (BIM-L4)

     Job Overview

    • We are seeking a HVAC BIM Modeller to join our team in Cape Town. The candidate will work with our engineering team to produce detailed design documentation for HVAC systems on exciting international projects. 

    Role Responsibilities

    • Execute the 3D digital build with the required authoring software to accurately capture the design and all design related data. 
    • Pay careful consideration to the context, relevant interfaces, and buildability of the model elements during the digital build. 
    • Ensure that the details developed are technically feasible. 
    • Ensure that all required metadata not automatically generated is manually added to the digital build elements, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and a real commitment to data accuracy. 
    • Achieve completion of various aspects of the digital build as set out in the MIDP and TIDP to maintain the agreed cadence of model federation and information sharing. 
    • Achieve ongoing project adherence to the BEP/EIRs and communicate opportunities for efficiency enhancement to the BIM coordinator and other team members. 
    • Pay close attention to quality of outputs, review and self-check modelling work to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation

    Minimum Requirements
