    Motor Claims Service Consultant Heavy Co

    What will you do?
    Santam’s Motor Claims (Heavy Commercial Claims) department has a position available for a Claims Service Consultant that will be based in Aucklandpark, Johannesburg.

    The purpose of this positionis to get the allocated Heavy Commercial Claims ready for an assessor to be appointed, to handle all such claim enquiries and be responsible for the allocated claim until payment is complete and claim summarized. This will include communication with the client, Intermediary and or Service Provider as well as process 
    of payments on claims as per Assessor recommendations and instructions.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Responsible for all Heavy Commercial identified claims pertaining to Transport 
    • Underwriters, Agriculture and Commercial lines. 
    • Manage workload and instructions from system through any communication and or documents.
    • Required to check completeness and correctness of documents.
    • Responsible for all actions to get claim assessment ready.
    • Contact client or intermediary telephonically for any identified outstanding information.
    • Required to follow up on claims to receive digital images and or any documentation necessary for Assessment.
    • Interact any stakeholder required to obtain reports and or details for the claim.
    • Handle complaints, queries and all interaction with clients, Intermediaries, 
    • Service Providers, internal stakeholders, Relationship Managers, Claims 
    • Committee and Underwriters.
    • Process payments as per Assessor recommendation and instruction after verification of relevant and required documentation.
    • Compiling of all rejection letters and distribution thereof to relevant stakeholders.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Matric
    • 2 - 4 years’ claims experience
    • Any previous claims handling, pre-support and or post support experience is advantageous

    Infrastructure Manager

    JOB DESCRIPTION
    IT Infrastructure Manager whose primary responsibility is to ensure that the managed service we receive (from multiple vendors) delivers on the agreed SLA’s, is appropriate for our need and strategy and that we can measure and report on the implementation, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade and administration of IT infrastructure systems. This includes but is not limited to the network infrastructure, servers, storage, telephony and databases to achieve availability, performance, and security objectives

    Junior Treasury Accountant (9 month Fixed Term Contract))

    What will you do?
    Santam is looking for a passionate and energetic individual for a position within the Group Treasury department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accounting of Treasury transactions and bank reconciliations.
    We are looking for an individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to build good relationships. The successful incumbent’s main responsibility will entail accounting for banking transactions, as well as resolving accounting queries with internal and external stakeholders.

    Lead Business Analyst (Digital/Data)

    What will you do?

    Santam BITS has a career opportunity for a Lead Business Analyst in the Digital environment with a key focus on Data analysis, calculating Digital value generation and Reporting. The digital assets include various portals and mobile apps. The person should preferably be based in Cape Town, but candidates from Gauteng will also be considered. 

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Understand and analyses data that tracks usage and trends in usage of different digital assets and features, resolve discrepancies and gaps in data and improve overall quality of data and reporting
    • Define data and analytics requirements for existing and new digital assets and features.

    Automation Test Analyst (Hybrid:JHB/CT)

    What will you do?
    Santam Digital has a career opportunity available for an Automation Test Analyst who will preferably be based in Cape Town.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Lead and provide guidance to a team of automation test analysts in the Santam Digital environment and liaise with contracted test service supplier(s) to ensure effective prioritization, planning and delivery of test results and reporting
    • Create and self-execute automated test scenarios, scripts and regression test packs and monitor execution by team 
    • Test automation frameworks: Ensure alignment with existing frameworks, ensure use and implementation thereof, and provide input to ensure continuous improvement
    • Ensure alignment of Automation Test Scripts with Acceptance Criteria on User Stories by being involved in technical discussions with project team throughout software development life cycle to pro-actively identify obstacles concerning quality

    • Experience in working in agile (scrum) methodology

    • Experience in the financial or short-term insurance industry advantageous
